Okay, so I'll admit that when I first saw this dildo's name I thought it was a little cheesy. I have lots of friends. What I want is not a friend, I want a glass dildo! Little did I know, it wasn't ME who was getting a friend, it was my G-spot that was getting one! And G-spots can use all the friends they can get, in my opinion.

This was my first glass dildo, and I chose a G-spot targeting one because I tend to like non-vibrating G-spot stimulation so I thought it might work well for me. I liked the non-threatening size and texture for my first one and I thought it was pretty. Well, I am sure glad I chose this one, and there are definitely more glass wands in my future!

This toy is great for gentle vaginal penetration and G-spot stimulation. I enlisted my sex toy co-pilot (husband) for help and he carefully warmed it with water before putting it through its paces on me while I just laid back and enjoyed. Because glass is so hard and non-yielding, it's important to use it carefully. Start gently and don't thrust much until you know how it will feel. You can bruise your vagina, cervix, or damage your anus if you go too fast or hard without first knowing what a toy will do.

The Flowered Friend has a cobalt blue colored bumpy shaft, with a larger clear head at one end a clear ball at the other end that has a multi-colored glass flower inside. This flower is strangely orange, yellow, and green. It's a somewhat pretty design but it would be nice to see some colors used that look better with blue (the pink version would go even less well with the flower colors). Anyway, the whole effect is quite pretty to look at even if the color combination isn't the best.

The dildo is about 7 1/2 inches long. It is about 1 1/4" wide at the ends and only about 1" wide on the shaft. It has a slight bend in the shaft to help with G-spot or P-spot use. I like the design and found it to be very effective, as well as pretty.

I found the head to be a great size and shape for my G-spot. For me, the shaft was a little too narrow. I could barely feel the bumpy texture,and would have preferred a little more girth for stimulation for the rest of my vagina. But all in all, this was a great first-time glass toy, and I will definitely be using it lots in the future. I think it would be good for beginners as well as experienced users.

For anal use, the head is a little large for beginners, but with preparation and lube, and since glass is so wonderfully smooth, it shouldn't be a problem and would be very nice! Be careful not to insert it too far anally; it has the flowered ball on the bottom to stop it from going too far, but it is a small-ish ball and could possibly be pushed in.

Make sure your toy is clean after use as I described, and keep it in a bag or box apart from other glass or hard toys to prevent breakage. This toy does not come with a storage pouch.

The Flowered Friend comes in an attractive cardboard box that shows the toy through a clear panel on the front. It is a nice, basic, gift-worthy presentation. The back of the box has some information and descriptive text.




Inside the box is a plastic holder that encases the toy, keeping it in place and cushioning it from breakage. You could store it in its box if you would like.
