The purr is one of those dildos that's just awesome, all around. It's good for masturbation, partner play, foreplay, use to finish you off, as it's silicone and has a flared base it could even be used for anal play then fully sterilized.

For me, the best use of the Purr is masturbation. I find that it's great in all positions. Plus, it comes with a bullet vibrator you can inset in the base, and this is one of the few silicone dildos that I've actually found the vibrations going throughout all of it.

I was originally nervous about the Purr, because of how ribbed it is. However, it's much less ribbed than it looks. Yes, they go almost the entire length of the dildo, however it's just the iridescence of it that makes them look so deep/thick. They're actually very minor and feel much more like an internal massage than as if you're using a ribbed toy.

The Purr is Tantus Silicone and thus collects a lot of lint and hair. However, just wash it before you use it.

Being silicone it does have a tad of drag to it as well, but not so much to be a worry. The ribbing does give it added texture, however it's not very severe ribbing, thus I feel it can be enjoyed by anybody, beginner or advanced user.

The diameter is about 1 1/2 inches and the length is about 7 inches with 6 1/2 being insertible. The size is just right, enough to make you feel full without being too thick. The flared base makes it also anal safe as well as strap on compatible.

The unique thing about the Purr is the afore mentioned ribbing. It's quite lovely and can give you some very unique sensations without the severe ribs and bumps that you can find on other sex toys. It's also along the entire shaft so you don't have to focus on trying to get one part in just the right spot; just insert and there you go!

The purr is not at all realistic, though it does look just like what it is; a dildo. So you'd need to keep it hidden if you're travelling and not alone.

I love the Purr! I've not found a single thing I don't like about it, aside from the habit of silicone collecting lint and fuzz and hair. The flared base makes it harness compatible, however it's not very thick. The base has a tendency to sort of...fold or fall down on itself, so it'd be a bit easier for this one to pop out of the harness.

This is one of the few dildos I can use in any position; I've yet to find one where the Purr is uncomfortable or hits me in a bad way. There is enough give in the silicone that unless your cervix is incredible sensitive I don't even imagine it'd be painful that way.

Being silicone you'll need to use a water based lube and store the Purr so it doesn't touch any other toys.

Make sure to clean it well also, with the ribs you could get gunk, lube, ejaculate or whatever between two of them and you don't want that sitting there and drying. You'll also want to clean it before use as well, as silicone has a tendency to attract lint and dust bunnies and you don't want to get that sort of stuff inside you.

Since there is not a vibrator permanently attached to the Purr, you do also have the option of boiling it, for about 5 to 10 minutes, to get it fully sterilized. Silicone is non porous so with a cleaning method like that you can get it safe to use anally (sterilize before sharing or going to vaginal with it) and for sharing with a partner.

The Purr comes in a standard Tantus package of a clear plastic box with a clear plastic insert. It is not discreet.
