Reflections serenity by Doc Johnson - review by Waterfall

The Reflections Serenity by Doc Johnson is a smooth double ended glass dildo. Serenity offers two different sized bulbs that provide delicious g-spot stimulation. My g-spot was very happy with this toy! The gentle curve and length allow it to be easily manipulated to hit the right spots in a variety of body types. The smaller end may also work for prostate stimulation because the larger end is a great handle, however I think it would be best if a partner held Serenity to prevent any accidents! The larger bulb also provides a relaxing massage when used with a little bit of massage oil.

Serenity is great for beginners and advanced users because of the option to use the smaller or the larger side. Because Serenity is made out of glass (and one of the ends is quite large) it is important to take care during play so that one doesn't bang or bruise the cervix.

The Serenity is made out of tempered glass or Pyrex and has no taste or smell. It is completely body safe and rates a 10 on Eden's material safety index, which means that everyone can use it without the fear of negative reactions.

Being made of glass also means that this dildo is firm with no give at all. Those who prefer soft and squishy toys may want to take it slow with this one as glass feels much larger because of its properties. Serenity is completely smooth and feels nice to rub along various spots on my body. Even though I am someone who enjoys texture on my glass toys, the smoothness of this one was very appealing and I enjoyed using it a lot. This is good for those who do not like texture or who are new to firm materials.

Glass works very well for temperature play. I personally like to use my toys warmed up, but sometimes I like them cold too. Being in New England during the Winter also increases my desire for anything warm!

Serenity measures 7 inches in total length with 5 inches being insertable. Serenity offers a gently curved shaft to easily target the g-spot or p-spot with two different sized balls. The smaller end is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter with a 4 inch circumference and the larger end is 1 3/4 inches in diameter and about 5 1/2 inches in circumference. I found that I was able to get more pinpoint stimulation with the smaller end and overall I liked this side a lot more. The larger end is a bit much for me in such a firm toy, however I still enjoyed it once I was warmed up. I found that it wasn't as easy to get a nice motion going with the large end, so I had to be almost at the point of orgasm when I switched to this end. This side will definitely be a lot to take for someone new to insertable toys. If you use the larger side only as a handle then this toy is great for all users.

This toy is not realistic in appearance but I think that many people will know its purpose if it is left out for someone to see. It would be easy to travel with if you have a soft place to keep it stored.

I loved the way the smaller end of the Serenity stimulated my g-spot. It was easy to get the right motion and to provide just enough pressure for me to orgasm very quickly! The first time that I used it I thought this was an "ok" toy, but all the times after that I had a really good experience. Serenity comes packaged in a plastic boy with a slide out plastic tray that is shaped to fit the toy perfectly. There is some information on the package that suggests one of the ends is for more "rolling" pleasure while the other end is more suitable for deeper insertion. The package is clear and you can see the toy right through it. Coupled with the info on the back, this makes for a not so discreet box. It would be best to place in something else when giving as a gift. The box can easily be used for storage as long as you don't mind making a little noise when taking it out and putting it back.

When I use Serenity I love to move the larger ball around inside of me with slow, circular motions. When I am closer to orgasm this sideways stimulation of my g-spot is to die for!

Although the large end is not good for thrusting, there are many other motions to experiment with that feel very nice. In addition to the circular motions, rocking and up and down motions with the large end are extremely pleasurable.
