Totally exceeded my expectations!

The Slim Jim is a versatile dildo that can be used for solo play by a man or woman, anally or vaginally. This toy can also be used by couples since it is O-ring compatible and therefore can be used as a strap-on. The toy has a pretty decent sized flare at the base, so there should be no concern of losing it inside of your body. Because of the perfect curve, it shines in hitting and pleasuring the prostate (p-spot), and I would assume could easily be used by a woman for g-spot play as well.

The Slim Jim is made of 100% silicone, which is my go-to choice of material in a toy. The silicone is super soft when pressed, yet firm overall, and very flexible. I found the toy to be odorless, which is a plus. Since the toy is silicone based, water based lubrication is pretty much required for this toy, so do not use a silicone based lube. Another plus: the toy can be boiled for 10 minutes or so for extra sterilization since it is made of silicone. I did not find any seams in the molding of the toy, which is impressive. The Slim Jim comes in three colors: silver, black and beige. I chose the beige and it is a lovely color.

Overall, the Slim Jim has a spot-on design and an incredible curve, almost to the point of inducing jealousy. In looking at the toy, I found it to be realistic looking. Upon insertion, I could definitely feel the toy hit my prostate.

Because of the size of the Slim Jim, I would recommend this toy to beginner anal users, and I think advanced anal users would find it quite pleasurable as well. As for vaginal use, again, I would assume it would feel wonderful for any woman with experience level in using a dildo.

Since the Slim Jim weighs in at only 0.4 pounds, it would not add much extra weight if you decided to take it on the road with you. As far as discreetness goes, it is not discreet at all. There is no way it could be mistaken for anything other than what it is -- a penis!

Stating the obvious, the anus does not produce natural lubrication, so lubing up is a must. I use ID-glide, so I got the bottle out and lubed it up pretty generously; maybe a few drops of the lube. I found it fairly easy to slide in while lying down on my back. I have a few great plugs and p-spot toys, but this was the first toy in my collection that could provide thrusting pleasure.

OK, so you may be wondering from the title why the Slim Jim totally exceeded my expectations. With the first few rounds with this toy, it felt good, but not mind-blowing. For whatever reason, the Slim Jim seems to hit my prostate harder and more effectively while standing up. I was totally not expecting the intense pleasure the toy was providing, and I started to leak pre-cum after thrusting it in and out. Then, after more and more pre-cum leaked, I managed to cum three times. Yes, three times within the span of a few minutes! I literally could not believe it. Men, I am not sure if this method would work for you or not, but it certainly did for me!

The toy does not have a suction cup, but it would be awesome if it did. Upon reading other reviews of the toy, I did not find any complaints for harness compatibility.

Because the Slim Jim is silicone based, this toy is pretty easy to maintain. The toy can be washed with warm water and soap, and/or boiled for up to 10 minutes, to totally sterilize the material. After the first use and cleaning, I have not noticed the toy to be a lint collector, like some other materials are.

Since this toy is made of silicone, only use a water-based lubricant. If silicone lube is used, it will destroy it, plain and simple.

Nothing fancy here, just a clear plastic bag. There were no instructions included, but who needs them? Once the bag is opened, toss it in the trash as it cannot be used for storage. I suppose you could recycle the plastic if you feel the urge.

No complaints, I really have enjoyed this toy.
