The We-Vibe Tango comes in a white cardboard box with the instruction manual, satin pouch, power cable and charging connector. It is made of smooth plastic with the words 'We-Vibe Tango' embossed along the base. I don't even notice the words when I am playing with the toy. There are no seams on Tango, so if you're sensitive to seams this toy is perfect for you! The base and push button on the toy are made of what appears to be silicone. I have the purple one and really love the color. Tango is small, and discreet, looking like some lipstick. It measures about 3 1/2 inches and has a 5/8 inch diameter. Tango's size is much like the size of my middle finger but it is a little bit wider. Tango also features a flat lipstick like tip for slightly more broad stimulation area much like the LELO Mio. Tango is waterproof and allows for easy cleanup with soap and warm water or toy wipes. Only water based lubes should be used with it.


Tango operates with a push of a single button at the base and remembers your last setting when you turn it on again. Each push of the button changes the vibration pattern. If you hold the button in for a few seconds it will turn off (and remember your setting) or if you just cycle through the 8 settings it will turn off too. I did found it a little difficult to turn Tango off sometimes with holding in the button so it might be easier just to cycle through the settings. Tango comes with a total of 8 vibration settings. Settings 1-4 are steady vibrations at increasing intensities. Settings 5-8 are different vibration patterns consisting of a variable pulsing pattern, rollercoaster setting, fast pulsing and another pulsing pattern.

Tango charges with a magnetic connector at the base and doesn't lay flat so it can roll around while charging and accidentally come off the charging connector. I have had this happen a few times, but as long as you don't touch it while it's charging it's fine.

While I find Salsa and Tango strong enough to give 5 vrooms, I also don't think they compare to toys which connect directly to the wall for power like the Couture Pink Inspire.
