The We-Vibe Tango can be used during solo masturbation, foreplay, alongside another sex toy or even during intercourse. Personally, I find it works at its most optimum when used in conjunction with a g-spot vibrator. It’s also waterproof meaning it can be taken into the shower with no damage to the toy.

Tango is a bullet vibrator designed for stimulating the clitoris but can also be used to arouse other parts of the body: from nipples to perineum. As it doesn’t have a flared base, however, it must not be used anally or internally.

Although it’s very powerful (easily one of the most powerful sex toys I own) the vibrations are surprisingly quiet and any noise is easily muffled if you’re worried about housemates overhearing.

It's a very versatile sex toy which is lightweight and compact making it the perfect choice for those romantic breaks and holidays.

The Tango is made from PC-ABS thermoplastic material with a silicone base, meaning it's body-safe, hygienic and durable. This is a very smooth, rigid plastic which is ideal if, like me, you require firm pressure in order to reach climax. Furthermore, it requires less lubricant than many other sex toys due to its smooth texture and small size. It’s also completely odorless, so no nasty off-putting smells to worry about.

This vibrator is 3.25 inches long with quite a slim circumference of 2.25 inches which is about the same size as my middle finger. It has a very smooth, sleek design and employs a single-button control on the base of the toy which is not intimidating at all and would be suitable for beginners.

As the Tango is so small and smooth it can be fiddly to hold during use so the silicone base is an important feature as it allows you to grip the button with your finger more easily.

‘We-Vibe Tango’ is lightly embossed around the base of the toy's shaft but this is barely noticeable and also doesn't require much extra attention during cleaning.

Its lipstick-style head allows you to alternate between using the pinpoint tip, which is great for accuracy and teasing, or the flat edge, which presses against a larger surface area.

Unfortunately, there is a small chip, about 1mm in diameter, right on the tip of my Tango. I’m not sure if this is a defect or something to do with the molding process, but it has been mentioned in other reviews too. It doesn’t seem to interfere with the toy's use though.

The Tango is reasonably lightweight, compact, and discreet, so it can easily be slipped into a handbag and is travel-friendly. It’s fully sealed too so can be submerged under water.

Its is very easy to use; to turn it on simply press and hold the button on the base of the toy for a few seconds. It has 8 different vibration modes which have been described by We-Vibe as:

1. Low (3000 RPM)
2. Medium (3600 RPM)
3. High (4200 RPM)
4. Ultra (4800 RPM)
5. Tease
6. Wave
7. Pulse
8. Cha-cha

To cycle through the various modes, you just press the button. There is little risk of accidently pressing the button as it needs quite firm pressure. Once it has gone through all 8 modes, if you press the button once more, it will turn the vibrator off. Alternatively, if you press and hold the button during use, rather than switching to the next vibration pattern, it will turn off instead, and when you turn it back on it will resume from the mode you were using; This is ideal if you get interrupted by a phone call, for instance, and wish to quickly get back to the setting you were on. A problem with the configurations on the Tango, however, is that if you go past the mode that you want you have to cycle through all of the other 7 modes to get back to it.

This vibrator is also rechargeable. The charger, which has a wire around 70 inches long, connects through magnetic nodes on the base of the toy.



A light on the charging base indicates when the toy is connected and charging. Once the battery is fully charged, which only takes about 2 hours, the light goes off. Unfortunately, it is very easy to knock the magnetic connection apart, and the light will also go off if that is the case, so it is important to double check that it has actually finished charging and has not accidently disconnected.



There is also no warning about how much battery is left in the vibrator. Usually in sex toys there is a noticeable difference in the strength of the vibrations when the battery is running low but that doesn’t seem to be the case with the Tango; it just suddenly stops dead.

As the Tango is waterproof, this makes it a lot easier to clean: simply run it under some water with a bit of soap or invest in a sex toy cleaning solution.

The plastic material is safe to use with any kind of lubricant. However, due to the silicone base, it is probably safer to opt for a water-based one.

Tango comes with its own white satin bag for storing it in and keeping it clean. The bag is large enough to enclose the vibrator as well as the charger. It has a thin lining which provides a little bit of extra protection to its contents. The bag was quite stiff and kind of cheap and papery-feeling at first but has since softened with use and feels quite luxurious and soft now. The drawstring actually does a good job of staying firmly fastened as well, so no need to tie the strings.

The packaging is very tasteful and is also eco-friendly as it is fully recyclable.



You have to turn it upside down before opening it or the packaging components may fall out.



It has a molded in-tray to keep the vibrator and accessories in place.



The packaging houses the Tango and its accessories very well, but you also have the option of using the included storage pouch which takes up far less space in your toy chest and makes it easier to pop straight into your bag if you plan to take it on holiday with you.

The vibrations in this toy are very powerful and conduct easily so can sometimes have a numbing effect on your fingers after extensive use.
