High intensity bullet - bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Airen Wolf

The High Intensity Bullet by California Exotic Novelties has 3 speeds, incredible power, is long lasting, safe and pure, durable and waterproof according to the front of the package. The speeds are easily felt; the first being relatively high pitched and buzzy, the second is deeper and more thrummy, and the third is less deep and has more buzz to it. I prefer the second speed but the first is still easily felt along the entire toy with more pinpoint vibration in the tip which is pretty standard for most bullet type toys. The strength of the vibrations isn't enough to make you go numb but it is pretty vigorous so if you prefer lighter more teasing vibes this isn't for you.

The bullet is 3 inches long from its tapered tip to its push button bottom. The body of the bullet is approximately 2 inches around with the tip being about 1 1/2 inches around. It fits nicely in the hands and has plenty of area to grasp it while playing. The toy is push button operated and you have to cycle through all the speeds to turn off the toy which could be a negative point if you are suddenly interrupted. The good news is this isn't a loud toy so the chances that someone will hear it and barge in are very slim. In the living room where I am writing this review no one even comments when I turn it on full speed-it's that quiet!

The toy is hygienically sealed in plastic and is visible in the outer, clear plastic package. It could be stored in the package without any problems after you have removed the outer coating of plastic from the toy itself. If discretion is needed then removing the paper insert should suffice.
There is a sticker on the cap of the toy reminding the user to twist the cap tightly before use. This is important because I first thought the toy didn't work but I realized I hadn't screwed the cap on tightly enough. The gasket over the seal is clearly visible and a slightly lighter color, this gasket is what makes the toy waterproof so be sure to check it for wear and tear.

The toy comes with one "N" battery which sits in its own little plastic form on the back of the package making the issue of where to store this little baby a bit easier since you shouldn't store a toy with the battery inside.

The backside of the paper insert has all the information one could need to safely and pleasurably use this bullet. The reader is advised to twist the cap securely before use especially when playing in the shower or tub. Wash the toy before and after each use with soap and water or a commercial toy cleaner. The toy is non porous so a good wipe down will keep it clean and sparkly. Remember to spritz it with an antibacterial spray or use a toy wipe before sharing it with a partner.

This really isn't meant to be inserted but a condom would be a bit awkward but not impossible if you aren't sure of your partner. It should go without saying that this isn't an anal toy and shouldn't be used internally in that area. It does work well for stimulating nipples, the perineal area, the penis, scrotum, anus (outside) and taint. With the tapered area carrying most of the vibrations it is amazing for stimulating small areas and for women who like direct clitoral stimulation.

The manufacturer also recommends that you remove the battery when not in use. Good advice since the "n" batteries aren't the easiest to replace or the cheapest. The manufacturer also advises that you use only water based lubricants with this product for maximum pleasure though silicone lubes don't seem to affect the finish of the toy at all. The materials in this product are ABS plastic with metallic plating. The plating hasn't scratched or worn off with use and the color is deep and vibrant on the pink bullet.

One thing to note: when the battery begins to lose charge the first speed goes wonky. It gets lighter and almost refuses to vibrate. I thought the toy was breaking but when I replaced the battery the first speed was working like a champ.

This is my first bullet type toy. After reading the testimonials here on EF extolling the virtues of bullets I had to try one. I am really glad I did! I prefer a good strong vibe for clitoral stimulation and this baby delivers. I ran it over Sigel's entire genital area and he said it was like continuous shivers running up and down his spine. We made the mistake of grabbing the silicone lube instead of the water based lube recommended by California Exotic but it didn't seem to affect the finish of the toy at all. Likewise when I used it after rubbing Arch down with massage oil it had no effect on the bullet as I teased him after relaxing him. This toy is wonderful for sliding in between you and your partner for some clitoral stimulation during PIV sex.

While I still like and recommend this toy the buyer should be aware that as the battery begins to die the first speed of vibration becomes almost non-existent. Once a new battery is popped inside the toy fires up as normal, it's sort of an early warning that the battery is dying. This toy does seem to suck down batteries at a quicker than normal pace though not incredibly fast.
