A symphony for the Baroquish mind.

Close2You has made the Sinfonia into a really aesthetically pleasing toy. It is a great toy for teasing, and works well on the g-spot. The presentation for this vibrator is second to none.

Use

The Sinfonia is a slightly curved, elegant g-spot vibrator by Close2You. It was released as part of their musical collection, each piece boasts to be minimal and well made. This vibrator is both gentle and flexible, which makes it great for partner play.

I was initially drawn in by the shape of this toy. I had narrowed it down to two Close2You vibrators--this and the Harmonia, both which are listed as g-spot vibrators. Though I am capable of g-spot orgasms, it can be really trying for me, so I decided to get a toy to learn about what will work for me. In the end I choose the Sinfonia solely based on aesthetics. Though I had my reservations, in the end I think it worked out nicely.

Material / Texture

The body of the Sinfonia is a black velvety silicone with a plastic end cap. It is firm but easily bent, since the motor is placed in the lower end of the toy. From what I can feel there is a plastic shell in the lower part of the toy maybe about 1 1\2" inches up encasing the batteries and motor. Above the shell it is all silicone, which gives it the flexibility. It will bend forward without a fight but has a bit of resistance when I tried bending it backwards. I didn't force it because I was afraid I might damage the toy. When using it to reach my g-spot I didn't have trouble getting it to hit where I needed it to; it wasn't rigid enough to hurt, or soft enough to slip.

Without taste or smell, it does offer some drag to it. A seam runs through the middle of the body but isn't noticeable in use. There is a also a embossed stamp with Close2You, the company's name on the lower edge of one of the sides.

The cap has the feel of a velvet touch coated plastic, which eases the transition of touch between the body and cap without it being harsh. There are two silicone buttons adjacent to each other on the front of the cap. They are both easily recognizable as power and function.

Design / Shape / Size

The body of this toy reminds me of a chili pepper. Though the thought of putting a chili pepper anywhere near my bits is off-putting, this toy is not.

At 7 1/2" in length, only 5 1/2 of those are insertable. The biggest part is about 5" in circumference and tapers off to about 2 to 2 1/4". It is very gradual and unintimidating. The tip worked well for this one because it was almost like the pad of a finger, and the gradual effect made it comfortable to tilt upwards and move it around to hit the needed area. I think because of how big the circumference is at the bottom this is very needed, it also helps to feel full when just used as a dildo.

The cap at the end ensures it to be waterproof. It does come off easily which may worry some, but because of the natural grip used on this toy I don't think you will have a problem with the cap coming off. Once the cap is off, it has a diagram of what direction the 2 triple A batteries go in. I know sometimes I have to flip the batteries every which way to get them to work, so this was a pleasant surprise.

The size and shape of the Sinfonia leaves it being a great toy for thrusting and g-spot action. Since the motor is located more towards the bottom of the toy, the vibrations only slightly travel to the tip. It is kind of a give and take for me I guess. I like that the top is flexible, but I also wish it had more vibrations in the tip. I don't think they would both be possible together for this one because of how the shape is formed, which leaves me indifferent.

Functions / Performance / Controls

In all there are 8 different functions for this vibrator. The first three are the standard low, medium, and high. High reaches a moderate level in vibration, it is very rumbly and not terribly powerful. Then come two simple pulsation modes, one slightly faster than the other. The last three are a series of long vibrations mixed in with pulsations. Each offers a great deal of variety to the user.

The vibrations run throughout the entire toy and don't have much of a focus. I feel like this toy could have benefited from a little extra focus on the tip, since this can primarily be used as a g-spot vibrator.

Though you do have to cycle through the settings to find the one perfect for you, you always have the option to power off at any time. I'm usually not one for patterns or pulsation settings but with this toy I found myself enjoying them, mostly the ones with longer pauses. It adds some variation without being too jumpy. Powerwise, I think it is very similar to a NaughtiBod---which is suiting since they are both music based vibrators.
    • Discreet sound
    • Long lasting power
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

Like most toys this one is easy to care for. It is especially helpful with the toy wipe the first time you use it. I generally use toy wipes to clean my toys since they are so readily available on Eden. But if toy wipes aren't for, you soap and water will do the trick.

For storage I am using the box it came in because I enjoy it so much. If you prefer the storage pouch, it will easily store with the rest of your toys.

Since this toy is made of silicone, water based lubricant is your best option.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging is probably the best part of the toy. Close2You has designed their packaging to feature some of the greatest presented toys out there. This package works as a drawer system---the top holding the vibrator, while the bottom holds extra goodies.

The Sinfonia fits snugly in a foam cutout in the top of the cardboard case. It pops easily in and out, while also making for a nice presentation.

As an added bonus, Close2you toys come standard with a few accessories. The drawer contains 2 triple A batteries, a toy cleaner for a single use, a small water based lubricant, a silicone cock ring (purple), an instruction manual and a crushed velvet toy bag.

While the cock ring doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable, the rest of the items seem very useful. The toy bag seems well made but does have some imperfections on it. I'm not sure if I will use the toy bag for this toy because the containment box for this toy is already so nice for storage.

    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Very informative

Experience

While I did enjoy this toy, it is a long shot from perfect. I wish the vibrations were a lot more focused at the tip. Without thrusting this toy becomes slightly moot since you can't feel the vibrations in the tip. Rocking the toy back and forth can also help it reach the desired effect. Holding it still really did nothing for me. But I did find the Sinfonia very useful for teasing and working up to orgasm. You can achieve orgasm with this toy but it may not come as easily as it would with others. I am glad I chose this vibrator to practice G-spot orgasms, I wish I had more power but it is ultimately pleasing in the end.

I feel like my search for the perfect g-spot vibrator is nowhere near complete. I might actually try the Harmonia as well to see the difference between the designs. Also, I may look into a vibrator with a motor towards the front area to get the g-spot stimulation I was hoping for. This was definitely a learning experience in what my anatomy is asking for and needing to reach an orgasm.
