You'll be hitting all the high notes with the Sinfonia

Close2You's Sinfonia is sleekly designed and made from quality materials. I love having this toy in my collection, not only because it preforms spectacularly but it looks just as good as it feels.

Use

The very best thing about this vibrator beside its gorgeous simplicity and great design, is the power. This "not so little" baby really packs a punch with its 8 different functions and has me singing up an orgasmic symphony every time.

I found that even though it's a G-Spot vibe, I need more of a curve to hit my magic spot, so it didn't quite work for me like that. However, it does make for a sensational normal style vibrator, whether you like slow teasing thrusts or harder deeper ones. It also makes a fantastic clit teaser (that's the one I like best!). The thin, rounded and flexible tip works great for pin point pleasing of your little button.

The Sinfonia could also be used for anal if you are an experienced anal player and have the confidence that you will be able to keep hold of it, even though it doesn't have a proper anal base. If you're not experienced in anal play, I would tell you not to try this one anally because it does get very girthy about half way down the shaft and also because the lack of a proper base means it can potentially get "lost".

Material / Texture

Close2You's Sinfonia has a shaft made from a gorgeously soft, velvety smooth food grade silicone which is latex free, non-porous, phthalates free and hypo-allergenic. The silicone on the Sinfonia is plush and flexible but still has a lovely firmness to it. The tip of this toy bends slightly without too much pressure but can still give a great amount of sensation and rigidity if that's what you enjoy.

The base part of this toy has a different material that I haven't found listed anywhere but it seems to be plastic with a coating that makes it almost as velvety as the silicone itself. As I said, I've not been able to find any info on the material of the base, so it is purely my opinion on what it could be but it's definitely not the same lush silicone as the shaft.

The "plastic" base and the silicone shaft both have a mild smell that I didn't detect until I held it up to my nose, so it's not offensive like the odour some toys can give off. Neither of them have any taste or any real texture. The shaft does have the company's logo in a slightly raised embossing near the seam between the base and the shaft. There is a very slight seam running vertically over the front and back of the toy, that being said you can barely feel it with your finger and for me at least, it's impossible to feel while in use.

Design / Shape / Size

The Sinfonia's shape and design has a simple elegance about it. The toy has a fairly heavily tapered shaft that starts out as a small rounded tip and quickly gets considerably thicker toward the base. The shaft is curved so that the tip stimulates your G-spot, but if you need a medium to heavy curve in your G-spotting toys like I do, then the Sinfonia unfortunately won't give you enough to put you over the edge.

The size of this toy I think is ample. It has a circumference from about 2 - 2 1/4" all the way up too 5" so it's sure to have the right girth for just about anyone, but it does get thick FAST. It has a total length of about 7 1/2", an insertable length of 5 1/2" and a diameter of 1 5/8" at the thickest point.

The base of this toy is a great size - it's small enough to not bulk out the toy itself and large enough to get a really good grip with your fingers or even your palm. The controls are also situated on the base, there are two buttons in total. One for on/off and another to cruise through strengths and modes. The fact that this toy has a dedicated on/off button is awesome, so many vibes lack this one crucial feature.
The base of the Sinfonia also acts as the cap for the battery compartment and that is the only flaw that I can find with the toy overall. The battery cap can be a little lose and so can the batteries themselves. Once or twice the toy has stopped - I've had to take the cap off and put it on again.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Personally I really enjoy all the different functions and speeds of the Sinfonia. Over all it has 3 speeds, the highest of which is really quite powerful and it also has 5 different pulsing modes, all which are just as good as each other.
The Close2You website has a diagram of all the speeds and functions which describes them much better than I could, so I'll share it with you here.

The vibration in the Sinfonia doesn't come from the base of the toy and as far as I can tell the actual motor is in the middle of the shaft. The vibrations seem to peak near the centre but are carried very well throughout the entire toy, especially the silicone part.

The Sinfonia is technically waterproof but unless you're very careful with the battery cap and make sure it's screwed on good and tight, it can get a few drops of water inside when submerged. In the shower however, I've not had a problem at all.

As for power, this toy takes 2 x AAA batteries and they are included in the box - Yay! I've had the same batteries in since I got the toy and I've been lucky enough to get 5 good 15 minute uses out of the one set and there is still no sign of them running low.

Care and Maintenance

Caring for this toy is very simple. It is made from high quality materials like food grade silicone, but because it's a powered toy, boiling isn't an option. So to keep my Sinfonia in mint condition, I simply use a good quality anti-bacterial toy cleaner and water. Then give it a through dry with a lint free cloth. If you don't have or like to use toy cleaner then mild soap and water, a 10% bleach solution or even anti-bacterial hand wash will work just as well.

For storage, I keep my sinfonia in its gorgeous box, which is more than sufficient to keep the toy in. I would definitely advise keeping the Sinfonia in something because like most silicone, it attracts lint and dust like a magnet. I also prefer to keep my toys boxed or bagged not only for hygiene reasons, but as I've mentioned in other reviews, I'm sort of OCD about my toys not touching.

As for lubes, since the Sinfonia is primarily silicone, only water based lubes are safe to use. Silicone lubricants can degrade the silicone of the toy and that would be a real shame.

Packaging

The Packaging of all the Close2You toys is fantastic, really well thought out and just above and beyond with the extras that you get.

The Sinfonia (like the others) came in a white-ish box that has several pictures of the toy around the outside, a grey-ish picture of two lovers about to enjoy their new toy, some info about the toys material, use and company on the back.

The Sinfonia's box has two drawers inside and a magnetic top flap that opens to reveal a window where you can see your new prized toy. The top drawer slides out so your can access your toy from its foam cut out bed. The second drawer it a little slimmer and holds all kinds of goodies. Tucked away in the drawer that is marked Accessori, is a plush velvet pouch to keep your new toy in, if you choose. A set of batteries, so you can get playing right away and you also get a toy cleaner sample wipe, a small tube of their wonderful lube and a silicone cock ring to enjoy with your partner. It makes it feel like Christmas all over again!
Also included in the bottom drawer is the manual. It has many languages and some great product info, but is lacking in details about cleaning your new toy. It only really tells you, that you should use the included cleaning wipe and gives no other options which is a bit disappointing, especially for people new to toys.

    • Good for storage

Experience

My experience with my Sinfonia was a truly orgasmic one. It got me to my limit very quickly and has every time since. Even though it doesn't work too great as G-spot toy for me, I still love the newest edition to toy collection.

My favourite way to use the Sinfonia is to start with a little pin point teasing around my clit, using the the tip of the toy and then when I'm fully worked up I really love rocking the middle of the shaft back and forth over my hood until I reach my goal.
Follow-up commentary
I still absolutely adore my Sinfonia. She is still going strong and hasn't skipped a beat or an orgasm for me yet. I've been very impressed with all the Close2You toys i own and The Sinfonia is no exception to the rule.
