K-Y yours and mine - lubricant discontinued by K-Y Brand - review by MamaDivine

Ok, I know my title stinks. But when I think about this lubricant, all I can think about is my clit freezing and losing all sensation. But, I will get to that later. I heard so much hype from friends and family members, and of course, we all remember those funny commercials advertising this stuff. So, of course, when I seen that it went on sale, I snagged it up. My husband and I don't hardly ever use lubricants, but I thought it might be something fun to try out anyways.

The K-Y Yours and Mine Lubricants come in two separate tubes that are interlocked with a small plastic piece. They come in (2) 1.5 fluid ounce tubes. There is a For Him tube, which is the warming lubricant and the For Her tube is the cooling sensation lubricant. The For Him tube is blue, the For Her tube is purple. We found that the lubricant was thinner than our other lubricants and kind of made a mess, so make sure to have a baby wipe or towelette on hand, just in case. The For Her is unscented and the For Him does have a very slight odor to it. Its not overpowering by any means, but it doesn't smell that great to me. Then again, you're going to be smelling it, so that isn't really a big deal (for us anyways). It does claim that it is edible, and I did try to taste just a little. The For Him and it was pretty awful. It tastes, well, like lubricant. Nothing to get all excited about and I surely wouldn't recommend it.

The For Her cooling sensations lubricant, I found, was extremely intense. It was too "Icy" for me and I didn't care for it at all. I prefer the tingling sensation, not the freezing/ice cold sensations. So, if you're into that sort of thing, then this will work fabulously for you! If you're into Ice play or cold glass toys, then I would definitely recommend this for you. The For Him warming lubricant was somewhat weak to me and him. He said that he has definitely had stronger lubricants with the same claim to warming sensations. It worked nicely, I thought. I prefer the warming or tingling sensations and it did rub off onto me, so I could definitely feel the heat, though it wasn't too strong. We used these separately so we could get the full affect of each one individually. I found that even after washing off the For Her Cooling sensations lubricant, I could still definitely feel the sensations. Which I don't like at all. I am a very sensitive person when it comes to having an orgasm. So, afterwards it was quite annoying to have it still lasting that long on my genitals. However, if you are one that prefers something that lasts a long time, then this one is definitely for you! The For Him warming sensations lubricant wasn't that powerful to begin with, so after washing it off, there was no lingering sensations.

I was somewhat frustrated by the For Her cooling sensations lubricant because it seemed as though it took forever for me to climax. I think it was because it was just too "icy" for me.

In any case, I think that if you're into strong sensations and like the extremes of cold, and don't mind a weaker warming sensation than this set will work very nicely for you. However, I found that for the price and the affects, I didn't care for it and won't buy it again. The tubes are cute though! I must add that we didn't have to use much of this at all. We used just a few drops each time and it seemed to be more than enough.

This is a water based lubricant, so it is gentle with all toys and condoms. However, Im not sure why, but we used the For Her with our diving dolphin cock ring and it seemed to make it start to peel on the side. Not sure if that was from the lubricant or what.

Yours: Glycerin,Propylene Glycol,Maltodextrin,Honey (Miel), Methylparaben, Sucralose.
Mine: Water, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 60, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Benzoic Acid, Menthyl Lactate, Methyl Salicylate, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Hydroxide.

Threw ours out lastnight after doing a run through of my toy drawer. Decided that it just wasn't for us. If you're into intensity though, this is definitely your lube!
