Diamond fairy didn't come through

The Diamond Fairy Vibrator is a fairly traditional vibrator with three different vibrating speeds. It can be used for clitoral stimulation by running the slightly bulbous tip over the clitoris. It could also be used to stimulate the nipples or anus by gently running the vibrator over these areas. I would not recommend using this toy anally because it does not have a flared bottom and can get slippery with a little lube. The two slight ridges along the shaft make vaginal insertion a lot of fun. It could be used by a beginner and some advanced users may also like it because it is a traditional vibrator.

The Diamond Fairy is made out of plastic and has a velvety-smooth texture. Plastic rates an eight out of ten on the safety scale. It is also hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. The plastic is really rigid and has no give to it. I found that while using it vaginally with my husband, it felt so rigid and slightly painful that I had to guide him with how far and hard I could go.

I did not notice any scent from the toy, which I was surprised by because some plastic toys have a bad odor.

I really like the look of the Diamond Fairy. I think the diamond strip that runs around the vibe between the shaft and the cap gives it a polished and put-together look. The way the diamonds are designed is great, too, as they can't become loose. They are actually in the material, unlike some toys that have details glued to the surface. The shaft is a pretty light pink color, then it is bordered with a row of pretty diamonds (mentioned above) before ending with a darker pink cap. It is shaped to somewhat resemble a penis as it does have a shaft and ends with a bulbous tip resembling the head of a penis. It also has a slightly bulbous ring that is half way up the shaft. This helps create more pleasure while thrusting vaginally.

The Diamond Fairy should be considered a mini vibe as it does not stand out in size. It is only 5 1/2" long and only about 4" are insertable. At the most bulbous points on the shaft, it is 4" in circumference. The cap's circumference is 4 1/4" wide. Since it is designed on the smaller side, I found that I did not like using it for vaginal penetration and that I prefer to use it to stimulate my clitoris. It just wasn't long enough to reach my g-spot and the hardness of the plastic made it uncomfortable.

The functions on this vibe are found on the bottom cap. If the cap is unscrewed and removed, an AA battery can be placed inside. Replace the cap and the button on the bottom of the cap will control the vibration settings on the vibe. It has three different vibrations settings: low, medium, and high. I found that the slowest speed was ideal for me but if you prefer stronger vibes the highest speed may work.

The vibrations are not too loud but do get louder as you advance through the three speeds. This vibe is actually somewhat quiet. If you share an apartment with someone, you should be fine as it can't be heard through walls. If you share a room with someone, they will probably hear it.

Since this toy is waterproof, I find that it is fairly easy to clean. I will quickly run it under warm water but usually won't allow the cap to become completely submerged. To clean, I typically use a mild anti-bacterial soap and warm water but you can also use a toy cleaner or a toy wipe. If you intend to share this toy it is suggested to clean it using a 10% bleach and water solution or covering it with a condom.

To store the Diamond Fairy, I typically place it in a dresser drawer. It's fairly small so it doesn't take up much space. Don't leave it in contact with direct sunlight as it may become discolored.

This vibe came in a clear plastic bag that had been placed in a clear plastic reusable envelope that bears Eden's name. I have decided to keep the plastic envelope as a storage device just so the toy doesn't attract any lint. I then just put it in a dresser for longer storage. There were no directions or instructions included in the packaging.

While this toy may not have been made with me in mind, I do think that it could be great for many people. It is quite handy because of its small size. It can even be thrown into luggage and taken while you travel. It's also great because it's so quiet--that it makes it easy to use if you share an apartment with roommates. It can't be heard through doors, so they won't have any idea what you are up to. It can be fun to use with a partner whether they would rather just watch or help participate in the fun.

I really enjoyed the different vibration settings even though the lowest one was the one I preferred. The rigidness to the plastic was one thing I did not find enjoyable.
