The Diamond Fairy is a fun little vibrator to use just about anywhere. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and it could be stowed in a pocket or a purse to take with you, or it would fit nicely into a little corner of your bedside table drawer if you want to make it a regular part of your sex life. It's good for focusing vibes in one area, such as your clit or perineum, because it has a slightly pointed tip. It can be inserted vaginally but not anally because it has no base. It's waterproof, so feel free to take it into the shower or tub! It probably isn't large or curved enough to hit your G-spot but makes a nice little clit vibe. It would be great for first-time toy users, especially girls who like pink sparkly things. Advanced users might not find many uses for it, but if the color and sparkle appeal to them, they might keep it around anyway because it's so cute.

This toy is made out of plastic, which gets an 8 out of 10 for safety on Eden's Materials Guide. It doesn't have the typical plastic exterior, however; its surface is matte and velvety. The transparent strip of plastic that covers the "diamonds" is smooth and shiny, and there are pronounced seams going around the shaft on each side of this strip.

It didn't have any noticeable smell when I first opened it, and it hasn't picked up any smells since then. There is some drag caused by the matte surface, but on a toy this size I think that is a good thing. It is hard and doesn't bend at all, and there is no "give" when you squeeze it.

The Diamond Fairy is a small, traditional-type vibrator with a somewhat pointy tip and a couple of moderate bulges going down the shaft. It's a bright pink color, with a row of plastic-covered "diamonds" (plastic rhinestones) running around the bottom, just above the removable base. It is about 5 1/4" long, with about 4" of that insertable.


At the ends and the bulges, it is about 4" in circumference, 1 1/4" in diameter. It tapers to about 3 7/8" in circumference and 7/8" in diameter in between the bulges. It's small, but because of the way it bulges, the texture can make it feel larger than it is, and it gives more stimulation than if it were just straight up and down.


The size and moderate texture make it great for beginners.
It's pretty, but not necessarily discreet. I think most people would know what it is.

This toy has pretty strong vibrations for a toy its size, and they're not as buzzy as you would expect from this little vibe. It has a push-button on the bottom to control the vibrations, and you push it once to turn it on, and again to cycle through three levels of power. There are no patterns or other functions. It is powered by one AAA battery, and you unscrew and take off the base to open the battery compartment.


It is fairly quiet at all speeds. You could definitely use it in a room without it being heard outside the door.

It is waterproof and I didn't have any problems with submerging it in the bathtub.

Because it's plastic, you can clean it with soap and water, a spray toy cleaner, or a 10% alcohol solution for extra disinfection. You can use any kind of lube you'd like with it.

One thing to note about this vibe is that it drains batteries when it's turned off, so be sure to take the battery out when you're not using it (it's best to do that routinely anyway, with any toy).

I was a little surprised and impressed by the power of this little toy's vibes. Whenever something is a free "gift with purchase," I always assume it will be a powerless dud, but Eden actually gives away some pretty decent stuff. I'm not much into pink, or fake plastic diamonds, but I'll keep this one around just for fun.
