Diamond fairy - traditional vibrator discontinued by NMC Ltd - review by Airen Wolf

I am all about vibrators, I really like them and I love having a very wide variety to choose from in my stash. Add in some really pretty bling and I can even forgive, and learn to love, pink vibrators! Such is the case with the Diamond Fairy by NMC Ltd.

This little vibe comes packaged in a cute plastic EdenFantasys slip that has the pink and green signature colors as well as the fig leaves. On this plastic sleeve is just about all the information you would need to care for your new toy. It's not a great storage place for the toy as it's WAY bigger than the little guy but if you have a few other plastic toys of a similar size it could be a great place to store them.

This isn't a large toy measuring in at only 5 inches total with 4 inches being comfortably inserted but this really shines as a clitoral stimulator rather than an insertable toy. It's kind of a shame actually because it has some really great curves and a blunt tip that would be perfect for thrusting and not injuring sensitive tissues. Now, if you are a player who likes short, and shallow thrusting then this might be just perfect.
At it's widest point the toy measures 4 inches around and then curves inward half an inch before flaring out again two more times.
There's a lovely ring of shiny stones around the base of the toy. A nice feature is that they are inside a clear plastic ring so you won't have the awful luck of losing a few of the gems ruining the look of your toy.
The toy is made of food-grade, hypo-allergenic, latex free, phthalates free plastic. The plastic on the shaft of the toy has a velvety feel to it but a few drops of lube will change it from a toy with some pretty good drag to a slick little number. You can use any lube you like with this toy, which is another nice feature.

It's not an anal safe toy by any means but it does feel kinda nice run over the anal sphincter or taint. There is no flare to stop the toy from continuing it's journey through your intestines. While this may be real exciting for your toy it's not quite so exciting for you!

This little vibe takes one AA battery that slides into the battery housing under a smooth, plastic, push button lid. This is a traditional three speed vibe that doesn't offer anything in terms of variation. The vibrations start at a medium intensity but the vibes are deeply rumbly rather than buzzy and high pitched. There is only a minor difference in the intensity of the vibrations from first speed to second. The intensity heats up slightly but there's a loss in sensation which is odd but I think it's because the vibrations go a bit away from the rumbly side of the spectrum. Now the highest speed returns to rumbly vibrations and it actually quite vigorous. It's this speed that I fond most attractive.
The vibrations are concentrated in the tip of the toy and most easily felt there making it a great clitoral toy. They don't travel well down the length of the toy so you will not have your hand going numb holding the toy.
My problem with the vibe is that it's LOUD, really loud. Now with this type of vibrator it could be the variation of my own little fairy but mine likes to roar rather than purr. For me it's only a minor irritation since it's no secret I have and use toys. This thing can be heard easily outside my closed door and I have a rather large en-suite master bedroom. Still, I have actually had vibes like this one show vastly different levels of noise generated so you might get one that has a bit less power but also less noise.

Simple soap and water will clean the toy very well and since it's porous, if only slightly, a thin and small condom might be the best bet if you plan to share the toy. A commercial toy cleaner will work fine, as will a 10% bleach to water spritz. Cleaning is easy since the toy is waterproof. I did try this out in the shower but it was so loud that I turned it off before too long. There was no water leakage, however, so I can attest to the fact that it is waterproof.
Since this is a plastic toy it can be stored pretty near anywhere, and since it is a small toy it can be stored in a bedside table drawer, in a sock drawer, or pretty near anywhere. It will slide easily into a pocketbook or overnight bag. Now while traveling this isn't going to be explained as anything other than a vibrator but it's small and very innocuous so it shouldn't cause too much of a stir.

This little guy wasn't the best little vibrator I had tried but it was a free gift so I wasn't too unhappy when it suddenly died on me. It hadn't gotten used too many times but suddenly it didn't want to run on the highest speed.
