First Kegel Experience With Joyballs ;(

I was really excited to experiment with kegel exercise balls. They are really easy to insert and remove and are mainly used for strengthening or exercising your vaginal muscles. I was a little hesitant at first, but it was literally painless. It's much bigger than a regular sized tampon, but it's unique shape and design allow the product to slide right up in there. You can progressively feel various muscles in the vaginal region getting stronger and stronger. I used muscles in my vagina that I didn't even realize existed. Once the product is inside your vagina you basically have to contract and make sure the Joyballs don't slide out. It takes more effort than you would imagine, but your body adapts and starts to get used to that feeling and before you know it you have a wonder vagina.

The Joyballs are made out of silicone and feel extremely smooth. The silicone makes the product easier to disinfect and clean. The Joyballs are also latex free and work best with water based lubricants. A small pack of Aqua glide lube is included. The balls themselves have a smooth yet hard feeling. However, the black band holding the balls together is extremely flexible and durable. I did not detect any sort of smell or aroma coming off the product.

Joyballs are primarily composed of silicone and are about five inches long. The two balls inside are weighted and also vibrate at a low intensity. The toy obviously has no realistic look and is not shaped to mimic any body part. The toy is compromised of two weighted balls held together by a harnessing system including an easy retrieval thin curved loop on one end. You can purchase Joyballs in 6 different color choices, but every model has a black colored harnessing system. Joyballs are available in the following colors: blue, black, green, pink, red and violet. Joyballs are discreet and suitable for travel. They tuck away nicely in the draw string silver pouch that they came with. Easy to store and travel friendly.

The easy retrieve hook makes the balls easy to find and pull out. They have a unique design that I found somewhat awkwardly large and they were much heavier then anything else I have ever put in my vagina. You can certainly feel the balls inside your vagina when they are inserted. In fact, it was kind of hard for them to stay in there, they kept wanting to come out and it was an overall a awkward and uncomfortable feeling for me. I have never given birth, but I'm pretty sure that's what it must feel like.

The Joyballs can be cleaned by simply using warm water and soap before and after each use. It's very important to keep these Joyballs clean and bacteria free. It's recommended that you use "Clean'N'Safe" for cleaning, general care, and disinfection. Store your Joyballs in the accompanying storage pouch until their next use.

The Joyballs come enclosed in a conveniently small package. The plastic holding the product in place is clear so you're able to see the actual size/shape/color of the balls. The package does list various instructions and product information and in several different languages. It's definitely travel friendly and would easily fit into a purse.

I had no experience with kegel balls in the past and was very excited to try them. Overall, I wasn't as thrilled with the process as I thought I would be. The balls were large, awkward, and uncomfortable. I would not use these balls on a regular basis, and possibly never again. They are just not for me.
