Vanity Vr6 - dual motor rabbit vibrator discontinued by Jopen - review by Zandrock

The Vanity Vr6 by Jopen is a rabbit vibe. Some rabbit vibes rotate or thrust, the Vr6 does not. It only vibrates. It has two independent motors. One for the vaginal G-spot arm, and one for the clitoral arm. These motors are controlled by two buttons at the base of the toy.

This toy is made for a female. It is meant for dual stimulation of the clitoris and the g-spot. It could be used on a male, pressing it onto the tip of the penis, placing is on his perineum, stimulating nipples with it, but it is designed for the female anatomy.

The toy has a diameter of about 1.5 inches. This is larger than my penis, understandably this is not a universal measurement, but it may give you some idea. I do know some women find a penis to be large enough to make insertion difficult. So if you do find inserting a toy or a penis is difficult this toy might be too large. I however think for most users this toy will fit comfortably, especially with lubricant.

The Vr6 is made out of silicone. This means the toy is completely non-porous. It also will not hold any smell, or bacteria, and should you ever choose to taste your toy it will not have any taste. Silicone is rated a 10 on EF's safety scale and for good reason. It can be used with no worries of pthalates or other harmful chemicals leeching out. It is also safe to share with other partners as long as it is cleaned properly. The silicone is also quite flexible. It is possible to bend the clitoral arm and the head significantly. This allows for easier positioning.

The toy is quite smooth and does not have a lot of drag. Even though it is very smooth I do not think the toy can be used without some lubrication (remember no silicone lube though). With a good water based lube the toy will slide in very easily. The toy is not really made for thrusting in my opinion. My girlfriend did not like a thrusting motion. And it just does not seem designed to thrust, because that would move the clitoral arm out of position. The toy has a very tiny seem along it, but my girlfriend said she could not feel it, so I do not think you need to worry about it at all.

The toy has a great design in my opinion. There are two arms to the toy. A vaginal arm and a clitoral arm. The vaginal head starts off small and tapers to a large head that has an upwards curve for great G-spot stimulation. The narrow start allows the vagina muscles to be nice and relaxed, but the taper provides a good full feeling and great stimulation. The entire arm is very quite flexible. The head of the toy is larger than an average sized penis, so if you have issues accommodating a penis you might have issues inserting this toy, but for most users I think this should be a comfortable fit. The toy is not overly large, so I think it should be easy to tuck this toy away somewhere and never have anybody notice it. I think this toy would be good to travel with. You can "lock" it so it will not turn on.

The clitoral arm is much smaller then the vaginal arm obviously. It curves towards the vaginal arm, so that when the toy is inserted it presses against the clitoris. This arm is very flexible which is great, because it allows for some adjustment, because not everyone has the same anatomy.

Overall I think this toy has a great design. It has good proportions, provides good stimulation and is flexible which allows multiple anatomies to work with this toy. It will unfortunately not work for everybody, even with the flexible arms I think some anatomies simply will not work with this toy, but for those of you whose anatomies fit this is going to be an awesome toy for you.

The Vr6 has a dual motor design. This means both the clitoral vibrator and the g-spot vibrator can be controlled independently. They are controlled each by one button at the base of the toy. You press and hold the button. This will turn it on, as you continue holding the button the toy will increase in vibration strength. If you then tap the button again the motor will shut off. This does make it possible to shut the toy off by accident during play, but it does cut down the number of buttons from 4 to 2. So it does have its advantage. We use this toy predominantly together, so I tend not to accidentally hit the button, but I think it would be slightly more common during solo play. Since both heads have independent motors they are both very strong. They are right at the site they are stimulating, so no power is lost as they travel along the toy. I think dual motors is one of the awesome features of the toy. It just gives it so much power.

The toy has 6 settings for both of the motors. The toy does only has straight vibration settings, it does not have any patterns. But I do not think this is much of an issue. The settings alone without any patterns are great. Having 6 settings really lets you pick the amount of vibrations you want. You can go from a light tease all the way to almost instant orgasmic bliss.

The toy has a lock feature. By holding both buttons you can "lock" the toy. Once the toy is locked pressing a single button will not turn the toy on. It stays locked until you hold both buttons again for 4 seconds. This is a convenient feature if you are taking the toy on a trip, or in a bag, or really anywhere the button might accidentally be pressed.

The toy is completely waterproof. We have not used this toy underwater, but I think it would perform good. The water would absorb some of the vibrations on the clitoral arm and it would be slightly weaker, but this toy has so much power I do not think it would be an issue.

This toy is very quiet. It has deep rumbling vibrations that are much quieter than buzzy vibrations. I think this toy is completely quiet under bed covers, and there is absolutely no way you are going to hear this toy through a door. Overall it is very discreet.

I honestly do not have anything to say about this toy that is not so great. It is just a total home run.

The Jopen is a very easy toy to clean. Because the toy is waterproof you can completely submerge it in water which is always convenient for cleaning. Secondly the toy has no ridges or crevices. It is very smooth and flat, so there are no awkward areas that would trap bacteria. To clean ours all we do is grab some antibacterial soap rub it all over it for a a couple seconds and then run warm water over it. You should also be able to sterilize this toy in 10% bleach solution. I would probably not recommend boiling this toy or sticking it in the dishwasher. Even though it is waterproof I am not sure how the motors would stand up to the heat.

Silicone toys are supposed to stored away from each other, because you can run into some problems when they touch (they can interact and make each other a bit soft), but the Jopen comes with a nice storage case. So when you are done playing with it just give it a quick wash, dry it off and then store it in the storage pouch. I wish all my toys came with something like that.

Because this toy is made out of 100% pure silicone do not use silicone based lubricants with it. This could damage the toy and make it tacky. You should use a water based lubricant. You could potentially use an oil based lubricant, but those are typically bad for vaginal play as they can be used by bacteria as a food source and can retain bacteria.

The toy comes packaged in a nice simple white box. If you look only at the front of the box, you would be unable to tell that it was a sex toy. If you do look at the back of the box you can though. It shows a picture of the vibrator. Overall I would definitely consider this luxury toy packaging. It definitely reflects the quality of the toy. If I were giving this away as a gift I would give it in its original box. It just looks classy, nice, and luxurious. If you open the box you will find the toy inside. Under the toy are a charger, a nice storage case, and instructions.

I actually really like when toys comes with storage. This one is a nice black cloth bag that easily fits the toy and has a drawstring to close the bag once the toy is inside it. I definitely think all high end toys should come with a storage case and I was quite happy the Jopen came with one. You could store the toy in the box it came in, but there is no real point since they provide a storage bag which takes up less room then the box.

The instruction book is useful. It shows all of the Jopen Vr line, and how they all work. After looking at it I knew easily how to charge the toy, how to work the controls, and how some of the extra functions, such as the "lock" function worked.

In order to get the warranty for this toy you need to register it. This requires the serial number on the back of the box, so DO NOT THROW THE BOX AWAY, because you will be throwing your warranty away as well. A a one year warranty is definitely something worth keeping for an expensive toy like this.

Toy, charger, and storage case

When this toy arrived in the mail I planned my girlfriend a surprise. I invited her over and told her I had a surprise for her. I told her it would not be a surprise if she could see it, so I pulled out a scarf and blindfolded her.
