The Jopen Vanity Vr6 is a power trooper, but just not flexible enough for this soldier's needs.

The Jopen Vr6 is a powerhouse, fairly quiet, and completely waterproof. As long as you can handle its girth and the placement of the clit arm, you will be in heaven with its touch. The strongest vibrator I've come across next to the Hitachi Magic Wand, it is perfect for double stimulation. Even though the Vr6 wasn't right for me, Jopen makes such outstanding, quality toys that I will continue to buy from the Vanity line.

Use

I think that the Vr6, from the Vanity line by Jopen, has a chance to be a favourite dual stimulation toy for the ladies. It is meant to stimulate the clitoris and penetrate the vagina at the same time. Because it is strong enough to work out deep muscle cramps, it can also be used for all over the body, though with its shape, it would be unconventional. The curve of the insertable part is made for g-spot stimulation, but it could also be used for p-spotinfo here and perineum stimulation.

I would suggest that this be for intermediate to advanced users, as the rigidity and shape of the toy are for a very specific body type, and a beginner (like I was) may have a few setbacks before she learns her personal internal shape.

Seeing as the Vr6 is one shape, without any cords or fragile face plates, you can take it anywhere. It might get noticed but it's waterproof, so you wouldn't need to worry about something too protective to carry it in. A simple drawstring bag would be nice.

Personally, I prefer to masturbate with it because it's too bulky to fit between two lovers, but I love masturbating with a partner, so I'd love to use this while he or she used another.

Material / Texture

The Vr6 is a made of an amazing, fushia/bright purple, medical grade silicone - a 10 on the Eden safety scale. Latex and phalates free, hypoallergenic and nonporous, it doesn't smell at all, nor does it have any taste.
The texture is like most silicone - nice and soft, but with a little drag - which can be taken care of with a good water-based lube like Intimate Organics Hydraor Pink Water. Don't ever use an oil or silicone-based lubrication with a silicone toy or latex condom because the silicone can break down.

The silicone is very smooth. The only area with any raised surfaces or divots is where the charger plugs in and the two, raised buttons which turn on each of the motors. The soft, smooth silicone picks up a ton of lint, and in my house, this means cat hair galore.

Silicone is right at home in a woman's body. I think it's fabulous, but Jopen's version is much too stiff for my liking. This is more due to a inflexibility of the plastic underneath and the thickness of the silicone than the texture, which is quite luscious.

It's great for both beginner and advanced sex toy users, especially because it lasts so long and doesn't cause any skin reactions. It can be used by both sexes, as long as it's cleaned properly between uses, as it won't spread STD's or infections.

Design / Shape / Size

Now this is where I ran into problems. These are the dimensions of the Jopen Vr6:
Length : 7.5 inches
Insertable length : 4.25 inches
Circumferance : 4.75 inches
Diameter: 1.5 inches
Weight : 14.5 ounces

The Vr6 is ergonomic, but only for a specific body type. The main arm is curved with a bulbous head. The clit arm is smaller and curves towards the main body of the toy. The problem is it has next to no flexibility and will most likely only fit a very specific anatomy...mine excluded. The head itself is quite girthy - far too much for me, especially because it doesn't bend as you insert it. The head kept pushing up against the roof of my vagina, providing a painful feeling like the one you get when your cervix gets bruised. Although it did push past my g-spot, it just wasn't able to stimulate it properly. This was also because the clit arm kept getting in the way. Instead of arching nicely to gently access my clit, it held pressure against it in a way that didn't allow for the type of touch I like, which is touch-and-away, touch-and-away. I like - no, need - at least 4 vrooms, and even though the clit arm was the first rabbit I've tried that was actually 5 vrooms, it was useless because the arm didn't treat my clit like the sensitive gentle organ it is. Because of this, I would say that the Vr6 is for either advanced users who know both their internal and external anatomies very well, or a newbie who has fully researched and measured her or his own body. I wouldn't suggest it as a first vibe, just due to the price tag. Make sure you know you like vibration first.

Even though the Vr6 isn't terribly phallic, it has a very strong vibrations, so strong that welding comes to mind, and the dual stim design would inspire questions from, if not explanations to, a random person coming across it, say in an airport. It's a little big to throw in your purse, depending on the size, but you could put it in a nice pouch, along with the charger, and hide it discretely in a drawer or suitcase. Depending on how long you go away for, you might not even need to bring the charger, if it's just a weekend thing.

I mentioned a charger because - yes - Jopen toys ARE rechargeable. Halfway up on the back of the toy is a tiny hole that is hard to see if you're not looking for it. The charger plug is a little longer than most, bringing images of needles to mind, as you have to provide pressure to slip the metal through the silicone skin. This will save you a ton not paying for batteries, and you don't have to worry about running out of them.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Jopen Vr6 is really, really easy to operate. That, and the fact that it's easily 5 vrooms on full power, make Jopen now one of my favorite brands, even if the Vr6 didn't fit my internal body type. It doesn't have any special functions, but I never use any of those anyway, so I'm fine with just the speed or power settings. I just hold it down till it reaches full speed.

There are two separate controls - one for each motor. The motors are located almost in the end of the head and clit arm, making the handle easy to hold. Each one has a red light in the same place as the button to show you that each motor is turned on. I've seen other reviewers comment on the clit arm being "wimpy," but I have to disagree completely. It's the strongest I've ever felt, next to the Hitachi...so much so that I use it unconventionally, simply using the rumbly strength externally on my clit. The controls are in a spot that they can easily get pressed accidentally, but not as bad as in the Jopen double ended toys like the Vr2 and Vr8.

When both motors are on high, the toy is at its loudest. I would say this is 2-2.5 vrooms. Just putting it underneath a blanket keeps it quiet enough that you wouldn't hear it even through an open door. The performance is awesome.

It works great underwater, not losing any strength. The silicone is one entire piece - it doesn't even have a little piece that you have to worry about getting water in for where the charger plugs in.

The charger, when plugged in, will also light up. I'm not sure how long it takes to charge, as mine didn't come with instructions, but I do know that it holds a working charge for close to 2 hours.

Care and Maintenance

Since the Vr6 is made of silicone and has no loose or removable parts. It is very easy to take care of. First of all, always store silicone toys away from other silicone, regardless of the quality, because the contact of the two materials can break them down. The same goes for lubes, of course. You need to make sure to only use a water-based lube - no oil or silicone.

Cleaning is super easy because it's completely submersible. Warm water and anti-bacterial soap is great, or you can use a 10% bleach, 90% water solution. Wipe it down with any type of wipe, or if you insist, put a condom over it, but it's not necessary. Clean it properly, store it properly, and it will last a long time. You can use it over and over with practically anybody.

Packaging

It came in a white cardboard box with the word Vanity on it. It was very discreet. The box had a removable lid, so it would be geat for storage. It also had a nice, big pouch which would be a more efficient space saver. A little piece of paper with instructions, warnings (like don't immerse in water while charging), and the warranty was placed on top of the toy. The charger was under the toy itself, which was held in a cardboard cutout of the Vr6. There was also a booklet describing all of the Vanity line...which I will be studying intently.

Personal comments

Although the Vr6 didn't work for me due to the extreme pressure it put on my clit and it being incredibly uncomfortable upon insertion due to its girth and curve, I still fell for Jopen as a company. I am carefully choosing now between the rest of the Vanity line. I think I'll go for a Vr3 or Vr5, just because the girth is so much smaller. The Vr6 spelled P O W E R for me in an insertable, rechargeable, waterproof toy with a warranty.

Experience

I was so excited when I bought the Jopen Vanity Vr6 from another Edenite for a super deal. I even took pictures of me with it and uploaded it on facebook
ME THE DAY I GOT MY VR6
but alas.....it wasn't meant to be. I tried to insert it, and it kind of got stuck going in. This was because the head was too bulbous. Then it hurt the "roof" of my vagina because the curve was too stiff. It's literally rock hard, which is the opposite of what I love about my favorite toy, which is the FF Ocean; because i'ts such a flexible rabbit. The clit part was even worse because it hooked and rammed into my urethra and wasn't flexible either.

I know it sounds like this toy was a dud for me, but it wasn't. I simply turned it around and used the luscious, silicone, bulbous head for surface area stimulation of my clit. The motor was so amazing that I wanted to keep it "just in case I could one day fit into it" which is so silly because it's not like losing and gaining weight changes your internal shape! Anyway, I ended up winning after all, and so did my Vr6, which I now like to refer to as "the sisterhood of the travelling vibrator." It's crossed the border twice now and has found a happy home. I, in turn, ended up scoring a Jimmyjane Form2!!!

Follow-up commentary
Well I sent the vr6 happily on its way to another contributer in return for a Jimmyjane Form 2 and I couldn't be happier! The vr6 still had the most powerful Rumbly clit arm that I have ever felt and I am now trying to choose between the vr3 and the vr5 because of two things that the vr6 du not have - the vr3 is smaller and had a clit arm that angles back instead of against your body. The vr5 is slim and flexible. I wish I could try all of the Jopens and I'm so glad that I was able to get my fav toy in return for passing this on as I have heard that she is quite happy with our trade also.

Go for the vr3. People who have many Jopens all say the same thing. That the vr4 and the vr6 are strongest and everything else is buzzy. I've a couple of Jopen's myself, and the vr6 is the best one. And I only ever use it on my clit because I am not a fan of rabbits!!!

    Great review! Thanks!

I would just like to add that I saw a vr6 in a retail store a couple of days ago and Jopen must have changed the vr6 because the one I saw was WAY more flexible both in the shaft and the clitoral arm. I'm not sure if they are still to come to Eden or if the one I reviewed was older.i'm going to post this in the forums too.
