Siriously Overrated

She's highly overrated and a little disappointing for me. I expected this to be the 'end all' in terms of the perfect vibrator because so many people gloat about her. Unfortunately, she left me wanting for more, quite a bit more. Consider Siri worth a solid 3.5 stars, but I'll round down because any toy as expensive as this one that can't get me off (by itself) is upsetting.

Use

I believe Siri has become one of the 'legendary' vibrators. Everyone wants one and everyone who gets one brags about how amazing she is. She's held in a high regard with very few negative opinions.

This resulted in some expectations that she just didn't/couldn't live up to.

I thought this would be the kind of toy I could stick down my pants for a quick orgasm. I was wrong. This is the kind of toy you lounge around with for a while, or use in conjunction with other kinds of stimulation.

In fact, I can't expect this toy to get me off without another kind stimulation. The shape was completely wrong for me; when I want a quick clitoral orgasm I need pinpoint stimulation but Siri stimulates my whole vulva.

That being said, when I couple this toy with penetration of any kind, vibrating or not, real penis or dildo, it gives me some incredible orgasms. While it doesn't give me the quick "1-2-3 I win" kind of endings I was hoping for, it is excellent when I need a little extra stimulation during sex or when I have some time to burn during my toy-time.

Material / Texture

The Siri is made of silicone and hard plastic. The silicone is velvety smooth and slightly shiny. The plastic is slick, and gets very slippery it gets lube on it. I personally never use lube with this toy because the fact that it isn't waterproof (at all) means that the use of lube would make it hard to clean.

The control buttons are made of a softer, flexible plastic.

This toy is excellent for beginners, and advanced users. She's cute and unoffensive visually, is very easy to use plus can be expected to last a long time without wasting batteries.

Siri is very rigid, with no give at all. The silicone is merely a thin layer cover a hard plastic shell.

No smell, no taste.

Design / Shape / Size

I honestly think the reason Siri doesn't work as well as I was hoping is because of the shape. The only place you can get pinpoint stimulation is through the edge on the front. Edges don't work for me, apparently.

When I place the bump on the bottom of Siri on my clit, the vibrations diffuse out through my entire vulva which doesn't do anything for me. Unless I'm getting penetrated at the same time. That's why this toy and I don't jive as well as she might for other people.

In terms of size, she is way smaller than I expected. Almost like a computer mouse that's been reduced in size by about 30%. Very palm size, very discreet. I love how little this toy is, perfect for partner play. And again, partner play is the only way she's useful for me.

The buttons are placed directly under my fingers but they don't get pushed on accident. I have to make a conscious effort to press them to change the speed.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There's quite a few reviews detailing the various different functions so I don't feel the need to go into it here. That said, the only modes that get me off are the constant vibration and the random vibration.

Constant vibration is the first function, the Random vibration is the very last.

I refer to Random as Chaos mode, because it shifts through various vibration intensities and lengths. There's no way to anticipate what comes next. I almost always switch to this mode first thing, then switch back to constant vibration when I'm warmed up enough to get off.

The place of highest intensity on this vibrator is the very center tip, at the 'fold'. The vibrations are pretty well diffused over the whole toy though, which is why I complain that I can feel them too much in my fingers. When the power is up high enough to get me off (the highest it can go) it makes my fingers tingly uncomfortably. This doesn't last too long after I turn her off, but it still bothers me.

Care and Maintenance

NOT WATERPROOF.

Not at all. That little open hole on the end leads to all the mechanic workings on the inside. If you get water in there, you risk killing your expensive toy. I don't think that's covered by the warranty. If you DO get water in there, tap it (port side down) on the palm of your hand to try to get all the water out, then let it dry for at least a full 2 days. I personally would let it dry for at least 5 days.

The silicone part of this toy also cannot have any silicone lube touch it. Bad things will happen. So play it safe, and use water-based lube, if you need it. You likely won't, because it isn't insertable.

Packaging

Siri comes in the standard, luxury packaging that LELO is known for. I actually use Siri's box to store a couple other small toys (Pocket Rocket, Luna Balls, Bimini Flash) as well as the info packets to some of my other toys.

She also comes with a long satin drawstring bag, the same one that comes with Gigi or Ella. I didn't really understand this because she only takes up half the bag, but she fits perfectly in the smaller bag that came with the Luna Balls.

The information packet is sufficient, and includes many extra languages. Also included are the warranty information and quality guarantee.

This would make an excellent gift, very classy!

Personal comments

This is one of those toys that makes me yearn for the ability to give it half-star ratings. If Eden Fantasy's had the ability, I would give Siri a 3.5 overall, 3.5 vrooms and 1.5 bees.

There's a lot to be said about the quality of this toy, and if that's all I was rating, it'd be a 5-star, hands down. But I expect any vibrator that costs about $100 to get me off.

(Also, sorry for switching between calling Siri a 'she' and an 'it'. She's so cute she should be a girl, but I know it's just an object that cannot have a gender.)
Follow-up commentary
I'm still not entirely sure what Siri isn't doing right. I blame the flat head (and lack of pinpointability), but, once in a blue moon, I can get her in a position (generally between my partner and me) that blows me out of the water. In fact, the times she's given me an orgasm has been in conjunction with my partner/penetration.

I know LELO understands how to make quality vibrators, such as this one, and knows what the average person might be looking for in a vibrator: quiet, hand-held, easy to use, decently powerful. And for some people, Siri combines all these qualities in an adorable little package. But I'm not one of those people.

If you know your body well, and know that you like vibrations that aren't entirely pinpoint, but are more diffuse across your vulva, this toy may be perfect for you. But, sadly, it just generally doesn't work how I need/want it to.

I appreciate your honest review! I've been thinking of getting one of these for my wife but she, too, like pinpoint stimulation. Too bad this doesn't deliver it.

Thanks for talking about the open port. I can't believe Lelo just couldn't slap a plastic tab over the port for a 100$ toy...
