Slim smooth delight - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Ryuson

This is a very straightforward vibrator and is good for all sorts of stimulation. It's good for external erogenous zones, clitoris, the entrance to the vagina, and of course internal stimulation.I would certainly not recommend this for anal use because not only does it not have a flared base, but it doesn't even have a real handle! Since the point is so sharp and the material is so hard, I would mainly recommend this for solo play, but if your partner is very careful and you communicate clearly, this would be good for couples, too. I think that this is an okay beginner vibrator because it doesn't look phallic, it's a good introduction to bulges, and it's rather small in length and girth. This toy has no O ring, so it is only waterproof if you really don't care about it having a good lifespan.

The material is very smooth and slick (lube is not a NECESSITY, but is nice) and has no texture save for the bulges. It has a very tiny seam, but that's not irritating or even noticeable. The material is basic plastic, and is very easy to clean, and has no noticeable scent or taste.

The design was not my cup of tea, but that does not mean that it isn't someone else's! For me the second bump was too drastic, and the tip was too pointy. I couldn't really make it hit the areas I wanted it to hit with the tip, and then the vibe was to straight and slim to hit them with the second bulge. The size was nice, especially if you aren't looking for something too girthy. I tried to use the tip for clitoral stimulation, which WORKED, but didn't quite work well enough for me. If you need a light, pinpoint vibration on your clit, this would work great. The nice thing about this is that it being so rigid makes it easy to maneuver. If you know exactly what you want, you can get it!

Now for my main problem with this toy; OH MY GOSH it was noisy! When inserted internally the noise is muffled slightly, but for any type of external use it's way too loud to use with people anywhere near you in the house! I would NOT recommend this for any type of discreet play, because it is in no way quiet!

The vibrations are located in about the center of the shaft of this vibrator, which makes for pretty even vibrations throughout this whole toy. This toy claims to be waterproof, but the battery compartment has nothing that would make it so. I wouldn't take it in the tub unless I really disliked it!

The toy is operated by a small, difficult to push button on the bottom of the toy. The toy has several different cycles, and all are rather loud. The first three are constant vibrations in a low, medium, and high setting. the fourth is bbbbbBBBBBBBbbbbbzzzzzz, the fifth is BZZ BZZ BZZ BZZZ, the sixth is BBBB Z Z Z Z Z BBB Z Z Z Z , the seventh is just a super high constant vibration. I think that this is a good toy to find out your different preferences for vibration settings.

Unfortunately you have to cycle through all of these in order to turn it off, which is bad when this toy is not quiet at all.

This toy is very easy to care for. I just prayed it with a toy cleaner and then washed it off with water. It's a smooth plastic so it doesn't pick up lint at all, and it can be stored in contact with other toys. You can use any type of lubricant on it, and any type of toy cleaner. This toy shouldn't be boiled because A) it's not waterproof and B) it's not a good material to boil!

This toy came in clear, plastic bubble wrap. There were no instructions, but it's pretty straight forward anyways! Because of it's lack of packaging I would not give this as a gift.

As soon as I put the batteries in I was greeted by the extremely loud vibrations. I struggled to turn it off so that no one would hear, only to find that I had to jab the difficult to press button 7 times in order to make this thing shut up! Before I've only ever purchased quiet toys since I live with people and will soon be moving into the dorms, and now I really see why it's a big deal! If you aren't worried about noise, this may be a great toy for you, but I really can't afford that loud a vibration.
