This rocked my boat! (In a good way)

This pretty, feminine toy is a great buy. My partner didn't feel intimidated by this and the silicone really feels luxurious. While it did not dual stimulate, the amazing g-spot curve more than made up for it! Along with being rechargeable it is also awesomely waterproof! The Bimini Ocean is a toy that you will get your moneys worth out of, despite it's small flaws.
Great internally, strong, rechargeable, waterproof, silicone, soft, charges magnetically
A bit loud, lint magnet, charger likes to disconnect, doesn't reach my clitoris

extremely useful review

This small vibrator packs quite a punch, and is great for all sorts of stimulation. I find that it is personally best inserted. It can be used thrusting or rocking to stimulate the g-spot and vaginal entrance. It is designed to be a dual stimulation, or 'rabbit' style toy, but this doesn't come close to hitting my clitoris. You can use the tip to stimulate yourself externally or insert just the tip and bring the clitoral nub to your clit, but this just can't do both at the same time very well.

It also is great for teasing other erogenous zones, especially because of how nice and soft the material is. You can't give a back massage with it, but it glides well over the nipples or whatever else you want! This is a great couples toy because of the size, ease of use, and material. It would be a great first toy to introduce into the bedroom.

You can use this anally either to tease the anus or to insert. I have not personally used it anally, but the 'rabbit' style gives you both a good place to hold on and a safeguard to make sure that this doesn't get lost! Always use caution when using anything anally.

This is good for dorm living because of the small size and features, but the recharging process makes it a bit tricky to charge if you share a room. More on that later!

Material / Texture

The Bimini is made of a plush silicone that is absolutely wonderful to hold. It is a bit more firm than the Patchy Paul from the same line (which I held in a store) but is much softer than any other toys I own. It has a bit of give and flexibility which makes this more likely to fit with everyone's anatomy. Unfortunately this means that you can't put extreme pressure on the G-spot, but if you don't need it the flexibility is great.

It had no scent or taste out of the package, and hasn't retained any after use. It has a bit of drag to it, but a tiny bit of lube or the water from the shower makes it easy to insert and manipulate. The base is made of a sleek plastic, which is a bit hard to hold on to in the shower.

The silicone is rated a 10 out of 10 on the Eden Safety Scale and the plastic is rated an 8 out of 10. Both are very safe, nonporous materials that can be disinfected by wiping them down with a 10% bleach solution. This means you can safely use this for both anal and vaginal play by disinfecting it between orifices and not have to worry about getting bacteria where it doesn't belong.

The texture would be awesome for beginners or advanced users, especially if you don't need a lot of pressure on your g-spot to orgasm. It feels plush and luxurious in your hands; you FEEL like you got your $75 worth!

Design / Shape / Size

This is a very aesthetically pleasing toy, which was originally why I was drawn to it. Despite not being fond of pink, I was attracted to the rose color over the dark blue. It is a wonderful, feminine color and the pictures do it justice!

The larger 'wave' of this toy is supposed to put pressure on the g-spot while the smaller one is supposed to rest on the clitoris, but I find that it doesn't work that way. I found that the White Heat Double Delight Medium hit my clitoris with room to spare, so I assumed since the arm on the Bimini was similar in style it would be able to reach. While it is not the most effective at dual stimulation, I really don't care.

This is a wonderful toy to stimulate the g-spot, especially if yours isn't especially hard to find and you don't need a pronounced curve to get to it. The small curve of this applies a nice, broad pressure where you need it, but isn't too overwhelming. The design of this also makes it feel worth the price tag.

The larger wave is 3 inches long and at the widest point is 4 inches around. This makes it great for someone just starting to get into sex toys, but most advanced users would find it suitable, as well. It is not intended to make you feel 'stretched' or to penetrate deeply, so if you are a size queen you may have to look elsewhere.

I would not recommend this for travel simply because you can not lock it. You would have to leave it on and let the battery run completely down before traveling or else you may end up with a buzzing suitcase! It is small enough to be very easy to hide, especially in a drawer or under a pillow. If someone saw this they would probably recognize it, but just stashing into your desk real fast will solve this problem.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I really enjoy the versatility of this toy, but it doesn't have a LOT of different settings. It has three which are the low, medium, and high functions, but it then has three patterns. The three patterns are pretty standard (bbbBBBBZZZZ bbbbBBBBBZZZ, bbBBBZ bbbBBBZ, BZZ BZZ BZZ) but they are all about the high intensity setting. The fast pulsation mode is actually a bit too intense for me, so that should be good news for those that need some oomph!

There is only one motor in this petite toy, and it is located about where the two 'waves' meet. This means that the vibrations travel through both waves pretty easily, but inserted it is most strong at the entrance to your vagina. It still manages to pack a lot of punch into the g-spot curve, though. It might make some users hands numb with the vibrations if they are holding it firmly, but I haven't had this problem.

I personally like the low to medium setting, but I really am not fond of a lot of power. Even the low is stronger than some of my toy's high settings! This also makes it feel well made and quality; the vibrations are strong and nicely rumbly!

This toy is COMPLETELY waterproof because of the way it charges. This is wonderful because I use most of my toys in the shower and I know without a shadow of a doubt this water-themed toy isn't afraid to get wet. It also makes for awesomely easy cleaning because you can fully submerge it.

This is a bit noisy on the high setting, but most people should be fine. On the highest stetting it can barley be heard over the shower, but you shouldn't be able to hear it through a door. If you have thin walls you may need to turn on some music to cover up the noise, but for the quality and power it's still very manageable.

It is controlled by two soft plus or minus buttons. You have to hold down the plus to get to one, press it to get to two, press it to get to three, and then for each time you press it it cycles through the patterns. In order to get back down to steady vibrations you have to press the minus button. You also can hold the button down to cycle down to low, and then if you hold it for a few more seconds it powers off. This means that it's a bit hard to turn off in a hurry, so keep that in mind while you're playing!

Care and Maintenance

This toy is a lint magnet, and I really feel like they should have included a carrying case. I may just be spoiled with all of my other higherend toys being by Close2You which includes pouches with all of their toys, but I feel it would make it much easier to care for. EVERYTHING sticks to the plush silicone, so you really need to wash it before and after use. I keep mine in a pouch I stole from a Close2You toy, but you can also keep it in the box, wrapped in a cloth, or in some other toy storage space.

It is pretty easy to wash, but you should take care to clean the crevices of the waves. You can easily use your fingers to get to them, but it seems like an easy place for bacteria to hide if you aren't careful. You can use soap and water, but I use an antibacterial toy cleaner. You can also wipe it down with rubbing alcohol, bleach, or a disinfecting wipe to get rid of any bacteria you're worried about.

PLEASE try not to let this come in contact with other silicone! The silicone will react and you may end up with melted toys! Likewise, you shouldn't use silicone lube with this one. Keep it in a cool, dark place and try not to let it get squished.

This came with wonderful instructions in pretty, classy packaging. It came in a hard cardboard box with a flap to open with more additional information. It isn't exactly discreet, but I wouldn't hesitate to wrap it and give it as a gift. It is mature and fun, and makes it feel like you're getting a luxury item. My boyfriend was very impressed with the box and wanted to steal it to get the magnets out!

It may be a bit inconvenient to use for storage, especially since it is such a great toy! The packaging is a bit tough to open and large, so I would recommend storing it somewhere else. The charger also came in a separate box, which was strange. Overall, looks great, but you may want to find it a new home.

Personal comments

This charges magnetically, so that is a pro and a con.
On one hand, it is REALLY cool. It means that this is 100% sealed and waterproof, and that there isn't a concern about getting the connection messed up or loose. It's easy to charge and light up when charging, making it convenient and fun.
On the other hand, you have to have the charger on there JUST right. It took me longer than it needed to charge because the magnets kept falling out of line. It's partially my fault because I have to charge it on this shelf under my desk so my roommate doesn't see it, so if you can charge it in the open it might not be a big problem. Overall, it's really great technology!

This toy, while not reaching my clitoris and really performing as a 'rabbit' vibe, has way too many awesome things about it for me to care! Once I had it inserted and on, I almost forgot that it was supposed to be a dual stimulator! This toy hits my g-spot wonderfully!

While I was origionally concerned about the girth of this toy, the plush material solves the problem. This is taking a permanent place in my sock drawer (only my favorites make it in there) because of the awesome design and the great power.

I have heard of people spending much more money for something nowhere near as great as this, so if you have the cash and are torn between this and something else, give this petite toy a try. Because of this I feel I can effectively give this toy a five out of five rating.
