Wave After Wave of Pleasure

The phrase "drowning in a sea of ecstasy" may be cliched, but dangit if Fun Factory isn't asking for it with this toy! The Bimini Ocean, while small, hides an ocean's worth of joy and can carry you deeper into your own pleasure than you ever thought possible. Use it both under the sheets and under the water!

extremely useful review
The ocean. Big, powerful, beautiful, wondrous. Could a vibrator ever compare? Well, despite not exactly being big, Fun Factory's Bimini Ocean otherwise comes close.

The Ocean is a pint-sized rabbit vibrator. For those of you new to toys or not in the know, a "rabbit" provides both vaginal and clitoral stimulation at the same time. Sound good? Yeah, I thought so. This particular rabbit is only 1.25" in diameter with and insertable length of 3". It's perfect for the fans of tiny toys, though size queens will likely wish to skip this one. The end of the Ocean curves upwards to stimulate your G-spot, while a little bump rises up to nuzzle the clitoris. As is common with rabbits, proper sizing is essential for dual-stimulation to work. If your clit is an inch or less away from the top of your vagina, it should reach without any problem, and if it doesn't quite reach, then the Ocean can bend slightly to fill in a small gap.

The overall design is meant to resemble rolling waves, and the available colors are royal blue, hot pink, and pale pink. This vibrator made of silicone, which makes it 100% body-safe and easy to care for. It's a lint collector, so give it a rinse before you use it. To clean more thoroughly, you could use soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. A 10% bleach solution would also do the trick, especially if you'd like to share this toy with someone - always play safe, folks! Boiling or using a dishwasher is not recommended, as the heat involved with either option will destroy the toy's motor. Of note, the indentations in the wave design can be a little hard to clean, particularly the swirls at the head of the vaginal portion, so pay extra attention to these areas. True to Fun Factory tradition, their silicone is very draggy, so keep some lube on hand. Silicone is compatible with water- and oil-based lube, the latter being especially handy if you'd like to use this vibe as a bath toy!

That's right, the Ocean is completely waterproof (boy, out of context, that would sound silly, wouldn't it?) and fully submersible, so it can accompany you into the shower, bath, or pool. Thanks to Fun Factory's Click 'n' Charge technology, there are no seams or ports for water to get in, so go right ahead and jump on in!

Speaking of, the way Click 'n' Charge works is through a magnetic connection. First, plug the charger into a socket. You'll notice that the base of the toy and the circular charging head both have the Fun Factory logo on them. Position the charger so that the logos line up, then allow them to click together. When the charger lights up red, which may take a little wiggling, you're set! It can be a little finicky, though, and it's recommended that you set the toy down to charge on a table so it is less likely to be jostled out of place. The light will go off when the toy is fully charged, and you can't overcharge it. Fun Factory's instruction manual (included in the box along with a sample of their Toyfluid water-based lube) informs you that storing the toy on anything less than a full charge is bad for the battery.

The Ocean's controls are located on its underside, opposite the clitoral stimulator. They consist of two buttons, a plus and a minus. To turn the Ocean on, first offer yourself to the god Neptune so that... wait, hang on, that's wrong. Whoops. To turn the Bimini Ocean on, press the plus button once. This will set it on a very gentle, quiet vibration. Pressing the plus button a few more times or holding it down will turn up the power, and while the top setting may not please the power queens among you, it's still respectably strong and rumbly. Once on the strongest setting, pressing the plus button again will bring you to the patterns, of which there are three: slow, medium, and fast pulses. The minus button serves to return you to the steady vibrations, lower the strength, and turn the toy off once you get to the lowest setting. Give the toy a careful listen to make sure it's off - that bottom setting is nigh-undetectable! The buttons are easy to press without being too easy, though if you tend to grip your toys hard, you might change the setting accidentally every now and then. This rabbit, unlike many of its larger brethren, has only a single motor, but the small size and the density of the silicone allow the vibrations to travel easily throughout the entire toy, ensuring that you'll be feeling it wherever it touches you.
Experience
In my review of this unfortunate item, I made known my longing for a rabbit vibe. Since then, I tried two others with mild success, but I kept glancing in the direction of the Bimini Ocean. Finally, after a few months of deliberating and the unfortunate demise of my Little Dolly, which had sprung a leak, I decided to stop hesitating and just go for it.

My question now: why did I wait so freaking long?!

I expected to be using the Ocean purely as a G-spot vibe (incidentally, it works well in this capacity, and as a stand-alone clit toy). I figured that the clit bump wouldn't reach me, and I made peace with that... prematurely, it turned out. The first time I inserted the Ocean and turned it on, my clit snapped to attention like it had just been told it had won three million dollars (and wouldn't that be a strange lottery? If anyone knows how to enter one's genitals to win that kind of scratch, please let me know). My main gripe with the Passion Double Play had been its inability to set the two stimulators' vibration speeds separately. By virtue of its shape, the Ocean manages to completely negate my irritation over the subject. It's the one rabbit that I can actually feel on my G-spot and clit at the same time, whereas the others can never seem to get my G-spot going if the clit vibe is on.

It is, officially, my favorite vibrating toy. It hasn't ousted my favorite toy from its position, but if I preferred vibes over dildos then it probably would have won out by a mile.
