Fifty Shades Darker Review

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick book to read. It is something interesting with sex, love, dark evils, and change.

extremely useful review
This is the second book of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. Anastasia has broken off from Christian because she can't handle him and wants to fulfill her career. Anastasia falls into a depression, realizes she can't be away from him, and her desire pushes her to go back to him. Christian has made some changes in their agreement and he is trying to work out his issues. While they are rekindling their love, Elena, Christian's ex Dom, is trying to interfere and weasel her way between their relationship.

I still wasn't sure about this book. It has the same pros and cons for me, except this book was more exciting than the last. I loved that it didn't have a dead spot in the middle of the book like the first one did. I never stopped reading it. They leave you hanging at the end of each chapter, which makes you want to keep reading. I loved the sex scenes. They were very detailed and they actually turned me on. I loved the twists and turns with Anastasia's boss. He was a character that I loved to hate. I liked that they threw in some very sensitive subjects, such as sexual harassment and kidnapping. It makes it more down to earth.

I hated that the author kept putting in repetitive lines, such as "He's my fifty shades, I love him no matter what", "He may have issues but I love him", or "I don't know what to do with him. Do I stay or do I go." It made me feel that she just ran out of stuff to say, so she was just repeating things to fill space. Once again E.L. James pulled out the Thesaurus. She adds big awkward words where they aren't needed.

All in all, it's not that bad of a story line and it's a quick read. If you don't want a book that has too many details to remember, then this is for you. The sex scenes are always a big plus as well.
Experience
This book is more of a page turner than the first Fifty shades of grey book. It has more compelling and captivating issues. I had to read the first page of the next chapter before I went to sleep other wise I would be thinking about it too much and I may have stayed awake all night....
