Fifty Shades of "What the fuck happened here"?

This book was definitely not as good as the first one, and probably not even worth the time I took to download it, let alone the time I took to actually read it. It was an utter waste of my time, brain cells, and probably dropped my IQ slightly. My inner Goddess is dying inside at the thought of even attempting to read the third.

I had just finished reading the first book, after my day long hide in the bedroom and read until my eyes fall out bender, when I scrambled to find and download the second installment. I neglected my homework, forgot about food, and locked myself away in my bedroom away from the kids and husband. My note pad handy, to take notes... my toys handy to... Well... you know.

The first few chapters did not fail to please, but steadily the plot started to decline. While I understand that these books are born of fan-fiction, and are another persons glorified fantasies, I truly do wish it would have had a better story line. I know, I know... It's Smut! But hey, What's wrong with smut having a great storyline? A plot? This book lacked detail. The plot was vague and weak, and it felt altogether rushed. I really do wish that the author would have drawn things out about, I mean, fantasy is nice, but you want it to be something people could actually see happening.

By about two thirds of the way through this book I started to get very bored. I was forcing myself just to read it, and praying that things would get better. However, by the end of the book I was left rolling my eyes, scratching my head, and looking very much like a cave man. Believe me. I was a sight for sore eyes. The sex scenes are repetitive, poorly described, and feel like something I myself might have written... When I was thirteen. Scratch that. Ten. I wrote smut like this when I was ten. Just ask my mother... she found the floppy disc, and had to have the talk with me.

Another problem I had was some of the phrases she uses, over and over and over again.
Ahem.. Lions... Tigers... Inner Goddess... OH MY!
Follow-up commentary
I still see this book as a blemish on my brain. I will never read it again. In face, I have already deleted it, in its entirety from my tablet, and all I have to say is, Thank GOD it's gone.
