My girlfriend and I don't have a lot of experience with sex toys. We've always wanted to experiment a little by introducing toys, but were a little embarrassed by the idea of them. The Hitachi Magic Wand spares some prude thoughts by doubling as a "massager". We figured we would give this product a try, and we haven't been disappointed.

Being a virgin to anything vibrating, I didn't know how my significant other would respond to this new sensation. Needless to say, the results were more than I could hope for. This device packs a punch, and is able to get her off with alarming speed. It's lucky that we don't live in an apartment with thin walls, or we would be getting plenty of knocks from the neighbors.

The Magic Wand is not a vibrator to use for insertion. Since it is advertised as a back massager, it is too big for penetration. The soft foam head provides a wide surface area, however, that can be used to easily stimulate a large area. It doesn't require much manipulation or fine tuning to find a pleasurable spot to put it. Ease of use is definitely a plus.

There are only two vibration settings available. The lowest setting is powerful enough to get off with, and the high setting provides a little extra oomph. Since it uses a standard AC plug and no batteries, you can be assured that you will get some kick with it. It would have been nice to see some more of a gradient to fine tune how much vibration you want, but you get plenty with these settings.

In conclusion, the Hitachi Magic Wand is a great little device to spice up the bedroom. It's powerful enough to have you or your partner screaming in pleasure and begging for more.
