Of all the things that you can buy on this site, you may think that a candle is pretty low on the list. However, if you’re thinking outside the box, you just might find a great product. The “Tantric Candle - Orange Ginger” is a very humble product that arrives without much fanfare. It arrives as a candle in a tin, with a small spoon, and nothing more. The candle and tin were in perfect condition, and are thankfully very discreet. With the exception of the lid, this candle looks just like a normal candle, and can be stored around the house without arousing the least amount of suspicion.

The candle has a very unique smell, fruity with a hint of ginger. The scent fills the room quickly, and isn’t too powerful or overwhelming. I am sensitive to candles, and I had no problems with the scent of this candle. If you use it strictly as a candle, it will last somewhere on the order of 60 hours, which is very impressive, especially for the candle’s small size.

It is unlikely, however, that you will use this candle strictly as a candle. It comes with a little spoon for a reason, and this is where the candle shines (no pun intended). As the wax melts, you can scoop it out and use it as a warmed massage oil. The candle is made entirely out of natural oils, so its very easy on the skin and unlikely to cause an adverse reaction. Because the candle burns at a relatively low heat, the melted wax from the candle isn’t too hot. You’ll have to leave the candle burning for around ten minutes before you have enough oil for a proper massage, but its well worth the wait, and those ten minutes will let the scent circulate well.

All told, this is a great product. It provides a great scent, a long lifetime, and hot massage oil. The oil leaves a small residue, but doesn’t dry or cake over, and doesn’t taste terrible like some massage oils. If you’re looking for a great candle to set the mood, or are just looking for a good way to heat up some oil, this is as good as it gets.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is an exceptional product. It smells great, warms oil to just the right temperature, and lasts for so long. We've used it several times, and have only recently made a dent into the amount of wax. If you used it just as a candle, I'm sure it would last forever (The massage oil is just too tempting though). This is still our top recommendation for a candle, and a great purchase all around.
