Cover me in chocolate!

This product is an edible body paint. It's a tasty addition to your foreplay routine! I was hesitant to try it because my husband and I have tried other edible body paints, and they just did not live up to their flavor. However, I was very glad I did try this. It has an amazing chocolate taste and is made from real cocoa, which I think is what puts this product over the top. It's not made with all those artificial flavors and such that are in things that you would buy in the store.

Texture: I love the texture of this body paint. It is very smooth, but it does feel sticky to the touch. However, to my amazement, it does not leave a sticky residue behind.

Thickness: This chocolate paint is somewhat thick; however, I don't see it being too thick to the point that it seems heavy. The bottle has a small opening and, since the chocolate is on the thicker side, when pouring it onto the body (if you choose to do so) you have quite a lot of control over it. I found that since it was so thick, using the available brush was somewhat more difficult. I felt like I was constantly dipping and drawing just to get a small design painted. Since I wasn't in it for drawing designs, I was able to just pour a little onto my husband and use the brush to spread it out to where I wanted it.

Consistency: Since it is somewhat thick, it doesn't run very easily like some of the others I have tried. Upon trying this, I happened to hit a ticklish spot on my husband's side which made him jump, and the chocolate that was left on him didn't run down his body.

Taste: We bought the chocolate and it tasted very similar to Hershey's Chocolate, which is my favorite chocolate. Some women would prefer a more expensive type of chocolate, and if so, this might not be a flavor for you. However, I am a very inexpensive woman so Hershey's works for me. What I also loved about this is that it does not leave behind a funky aftertaste.

Aroma: Once again, I feel that this smells just like Hershey's Chocolate. It did not seem that it was overpowering when licking it off. Not to mention that chocolate releases endorphins, which is always an added bonus!

What I also loved about this body paint is that it didn't dry, which was nice since I could lick it all off and not have to waste any. It didn't lose its taste, either, while I was applying it to all the areas I was aiming for on the body. It's not something that would absorb into your skin, either, so if you feel like a little teasing is in the works, and you want to leave your partner hanging for a little bit, not only will it not dry or lose taste, it also won't absorb into your partner's skin. It does leave the skin nice and smooth after it's licked or washed off.

The body paint comes in a glass bottle and is packaged in a plastic bag. The label on the front is just as it shows on the product description page, so it is still somewhat discreet--just some chocolate in a bottle.

These is no expiration date on the bottle which could be a good thing, however Shunga does recommend replacing it every 12 months.
