Don't Shovel This Snow!

Use this sweet tasting powder to soften your skin or your sheets, just make sure to be careful when applying as it's really easy to make a huge mess. When applied lightly to the skin the powder is virtually invisible. If you get too much on at one time, don't worry, just let your partner clean you up.

Use

There are so many uses for this sweet body powder from Shunga. You can use it as an all over body powder to leave your skin or your partner's skin soft, smooth, silky, and delicious. You can use it as part of foreplay or right out of the shower. Use the feather tickler to tease yourself or your partner while applying right before licking off, or just enjoy the soft sensations it delivers. Sprinkle some on the bed to soften up the sheets. Either way, lay it on lightly and it's sure to make you delicious all day long.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This snow has the consistency almost of flour, only finer. When staring into the bag it definitely looks like flour except it doesn't clump together like flour. If you stick your finger inside the bag and swirl it around your finger will come out completely white, but also very smooth.

The powder is really really fine, and I have yet to find a way to apply this powder without getting at least a small cloud of powder.

Once on you can smooth out any excess powder you have on you and what's left won't rub off on anything enough to leave any obvious marks.

Taste / Aroma

Shunga makes this snow in 5 different flavors: Exotic Fruit, Blazing Cherry, Raspberry Feeling, Honey of the Nymphs, and Strawberries & Champagne. Eden carries all but the strawberry one.

I have the Blazing Cherry powder. Both myself and my fiance think it smells like Smartees candy. The scent itself is very pleasant, and just strong enough. When applied to the skin the scent is there if you're very close. I have yet to find a way to apply this on its own and have it be able to be smelled without being pretty close. But products like this encourage being close, so there's nothing wrong with that.

The flavor itself isn't very strong, and also comparable to Smartees candy, only more powdery. If you get a larger clump of this powder for eating, it'll taste a bit chalky. There's the slightest hint of artificial sweetener and this is due to the aspartame in the product.

Performance

I love the fact that this powder isn't all that strong. The fact that you have to get pretty close to the person wearing it to be able to smell it is nice because it promotes being close to your significant other. I've had the flavor still be lightly there a few hours later, and the scent still lightly there as well. As far as how it made mine and my fiance's skin feel, that stayed soft all day long.

The idea of this is to leave it on; I have yet to find a way to make it sticky other than maybe leaving it in a really humid area (you probably shouldn't try this) so you probably won't be feeling the need to wash it off. But should you feel this need, you can either go ahead and have your partner lick it off, or just wipe the applied to areas with a damp wash cloth.

Packaging

I got mine from a brick and mortar store with another kit, so I don't have the neat tin it comes in from Eden. For me, this sweet snow comes in a plastic bag closed with a zip tie, that you can then put inside of a black satiny pouch with a drawstring closure. You can also just pour your powder from the plastic bag right into the pouch. Either way, you can make a mess if you're not careful; the powder will leak out at the top a bit if it gets turned upside down and shaken around. If you choose to put the plastic bag inside the satin bag, I would recommend storing the plastic bag inside a Ziploc bag if you're going to be keeping it anywhere that it might get tossed around.

The feather tickler came inside its own little plastic baggy. It just pops right out and you get your tickler made of turkey feathers. The base of it is a small black handle that's just under 2" tall and more well suited for being held by the fingertips than by the whole hand. It seems really well made, for the most part. I have had a few feathers sort of break themselves in half.

The whole get-up is fairly discreet if you choose to travel with it, however take the necessary precautions to avoid spillage if you do.

For ingredients, I was able to find the following: Modified starch, Corn starch, Aspartame, Natural and/or artificial flavor, May also contain honey bake. I was unable to find out what exactly honey bake is or which flavors it may or may not possibly be in, but I took this to be like the disclaimers you see on candy bars where they might contain peanuts. If I find out more information, I'll be back to update.

If you have any allergies or sensitivities to aspartame, you should probably avoid this product.

Personal comments

Try not to lay this powder on too thickly, when you're eating it it'll be a bit chalky in large quantities. Much like the powdery crumbs at the end of the bag of Smartees.

Experience

The first time I went to use this, I made a mess. Luckily I was at a hotel and not at home, but still, powder all over the place. Since then I've managed to figure out how to apply without making a huge mess, but there's no real way to apply without getting at least a small cloud of powder.

I loved licking it off my fiance and he loved licking it off of me. It's a great way to add a lot of sensuality and sexiness to any night.

I also really enjoy dusting myself lightly after my showers as well. When used with an 'edible' lotion like the Shunga massage cream my skin is left feeling soft, silky, and very kissable.
Follow-up commentary
In all honesty, I don't use this very often anymore. I do still like it, and it hasn't seemed to be any worse for the wear after sitting in a drawer on and off for long periods of time. The humid summer hasn't left it clumped up or anything like that. If body dusts are your thing, this is definitely not a bad one to try out.
