We have had the Hitachi Magic wand for a number of years now, but it rarely comes out to play unless my wife uses it as a normal massager. As a normal massager, it's fabulous, especially for the calves & back of the thighs. Overall, if price is not an issue, everyone should have a Hitachi Magic Wand, just don't expect it to be your favorite toy, unless you enjoy cumming fast, over and over until your clitoris is aching. Well, it's time for a follow up review, and I have to tell you, my wife and I haven't touched the Hitachi Magic Wand in the time since I reviewed it. Why? We purchased the LELO Smart Wand medium. I/we still enjoy the Hitachi, but it has its place, and that place isn't visited often. The Hitachi is excellent at what it was intended for, a massager, but as a sex toy... it's just to powerful, and the head is too large for my wife to really enjoy. As a sex toy, it's just too much of a "wam bam, thank you ma'am...hope you enjoyed your rushed orgasm," toy. It's perfect for those into BDSM play who enjoy forcing orgasm after orgasm from their partner, especially if the partner enjoys ending with a sore and throbbing vagina. However, my wife isn't into that sort of play. The LELO Smart Wand medium is smaller, with a smaller head, cordless, lighter, more ergonomicaly pleasing to the hand, and it's just a better sex to for pleasing my wife and slowly drawing out delicious orgasms from her. I'm still happy that I own the Hitachi Magic Wand, but as long as we own the LELO Smart Wand medium, the Hitachi will be used mainly as a normal massager.
