Magic Wand Original - large wand massager by Vibratex - review by steelaster

This toy is definitely part of a cult. I would describe this toy as by far the strongest toy I have ever felt - but in a bad way.
This toy is made of plastic, which is an 8 on the material safety scale. This toy is NOT waterproof, and not intended for insertion. When cleaning, you should be careful to not submerge it in water; just use a damp washcloth to wipe it clean. This toy is very large (about the size of my forearm) and the top is about the size of a baseball. It is extremely loud and extremely powerful. I doubt I will ever try another toy that is this powerful, and I really hope I don't. I felt like I needed clitoral therapy after the beating this toy gave to my clit! This is actually not even intended to be a sex toy, it is supposed to be a back massager, but hey, why not give it a try, right? Well for me, I'm glad I tried it because now I know not to get broad spectrum stimulation toys, and I now have a high quality back massager.

This toy claims to have high quality rumbly vibrations, but to me they are only high quality if you have never used a high quality vibrator. I tried this toy a few different times and never got off from it. I tried and tried, but it just made me feel itchy and numb. It also desensitized me so I couldn't even get off from my other toys. I imagine that if you do not have a very sensitive clitoris, this toy would be ideal. Personally, I prefer pinpoint vibrations over broad spectrum vibrations, which I didn't realize until after I had purchased this toy. Many people may enjoy the intense vibrations over a large area, but unfortunately I am not one of them.

I do have some suggestions for women who have the same problem that I did:
First: I have heard that if you put it under a pillow, it will dampen the vibrations. I tried this and it was enjoyable, but again not enough to where I could orgasm.

Second: I purchased a light dimmer that plugs into a wall outlet. I personally like multiple speeds, and the idea that this toy's "low and high" speeds make it a "multispeed" toy is hilarious. The speeds should be called high and so high it will sand off your entire labia. So my solution was to plug the Hitachi into the light dimmer and suddenly I had a multispeed toy that was not going to be too strong. The problem I had with this was again that the vibrations were not pinpoint enough for me. You can also buy the Hitachi version of this dimmer to give it more speeds, but the dimmer I got was only $12.00, which is much less expensive than the Hitachi version.

Third: I tried moving the Hitachi around (like other reviews suggested), but unfortunately it was just as numbing as ever. Finally I just used it for its intended purpose: as a muscle massager. This was a complete success! I definitely relieved some knots I had tried to work out. Sadly as an intimate massager, I had no success, but as a back massager I was quite pleased. I would give the Hitachi 1 star if it didn't have this quality.
