Her Not So Much, Me I Love It

The Hitachi magic wand is marketed as powerful deep muscle massager. For that purpose it is a great tool and has been used to relieve several sore back and shoulder aches.

But it also can be used for more intimate uses. For her we have held it against the outer lips or mons pubis as part of foreplay or against the clit for direct orgasm. For that purpose it is almost too strong and an attachment or cover to dampen the sensation might be in order.

For me, I love the feeling of this on my balls and against the shaft of my penis. I can hold the massager with the ridge directly against my frenulum and ejaculate rather quickly without any other stimulation.

The Hitachi base is made of a hard plastic with a single Hi/Low/Off switch. This is a corded vibrator and the cord is approximately 5.5 feet long.

The head approximately 2.5 inches across and is made of a dense semi-hard rubbery-plastic. This head is covered in a very heavy swirl pattern that is too faint to be felt. Around the side of the head is a single rut that encircles at about the mid-point. The head itself is attached to the base by a blue shaft that allows the head a little flexibility.

The whole product is quite heavy and appears well made.

The overall design is quite dated; but why mess with a good thing? The color scheme is a classic solid blue on a mostly white/off white body.

This is by no means a small toy its total length is 13 inches and the head is almost 2.5 inches across. It does not run on batteries and does require a fairly close(5.5 feet) outlet.

The head is quite hard and could be better if a touch more giving, however I am not sure that would carry the solid vibrations as well as it does.

As a wand-style massager, the head is the housing for all vibrations and they are amazingly deep powerful vibrations. There are only two settings, low and hi, which are both more powerful than any other vibe I have ever tried, but it would be nice to have a variety of settings to choose from.

These are not buzzy type vibrations but the deep low rumbly ones. Another positive is that unlike some other wands I have seen the vibrations really are contained to the head of the wand. The downside it is a very loud toy that can easily be heard through doors and down the hall when in use. Also, this is plugged in and should be kept far from water.

The wand should be cleaned before and after use with a damp wash cloth (never while plugged in). The head should also be inspected for any tears or damage.

The body and cord should be thoroughly checked for signs of ware before each use, and when not in use the cord should be wrapped up tightly but never wrapped around the body of the massager itself.

I see many people say that with even semi-regular use the head quickly begins to fade to a beige color, but this does not appear to cause any harm to the device or make it unsafe for use. So far that is not the case with our wand.

The images and details of the box do not show anything that make this one you have to hide away from kids however it is a straight out of the 70's box. In fact if I did not know better I might have suspected that this was old stock.

Inside are very basic instructions and just like all of the details on the toy it is designed for deep muscle massage.

I really enjoy the strong vibrations against my balls and shaft, however it was just too much for my wife. She could not have it on for more than a few seconds before it was uncomfortable. We have read some suggestions that say to use through cloths or a washcloth but there are other toys to play with and she does not feel it is a huge loss.

As far as its advertised use as a back and muscle massager it is a miracle tool. I get really tight back and shoulder muscles and a few minutes with this pressed hard against them melts the tightness away.
