If you want good vibrations than the Hitachi is for you! I love strong vibrations but Hitachi can be almost too much so I NEVER go past the lower setting. I learned not to press hard with this vibrator! It isn’t a cheap crappy massager. Be careful and don’t apply any pressure simply lightly touch down there. I will not lie sometimes I go numb when using Hitachi, but that’s only when I apply to much pressure. This is an amazing all over body massager too. It feels so good on my neck and back. It even feels great on my feet. This is a great couple’s toy too. Hitachi has no odor and hasn’t retained any odor.

It’s also easy to clean. I use a Doc Johnson toy cleaner. I wouldn’t use soap and water because it may get into the working parts of this toy and destroy it. You can safely use toy wipes too. Hitachi has only two settings; high and low. Hitachi is made of plastic. OK, about the sound. You can hear it outside a closed door. However I’ve found that if I turn on the TV; you can’t hear it outside the closed door. You don’t have to turn up your TV super loud either.


Hitachi is operated by a 6 ft. electrical cord. I typically use an extension cord. Hitachi is operated by a power switch. It’s very easy to switch between speeds and turn it off. Simply press one side for high, one side for low, and make sure the switch is set in the middle to turn it off. The head is a little smaller than a baseball. The vibrations are felt equally over the entire head. The entire length of the toy is twelve inches, and the handle is around nine inches.

Hitachi is too big to be travel friendly. Hitachi weighs a little more than a pound. I would not give this toy to a beginner because the vibrations would be too intense. Hitachi will get you to your Big O moment. To state the obvious Hitachi is not to be inserted anally. Ladies, this toy is not meant to be inserted vaginally. However I’m sure it’s been tried successfully by someone. Oh another obvious; this toy is not waterproof. Hitachi is a great toy for an advanced user and anyone that loves a good neck, back or foot massage.
