It's Raspberry Love

If you want people to think you smell as sweet at you are, then this smooth body wash and bubble bath is a fantastic choice for cleansing and relaxing. It's also a good replacement for Cake's former shower froth, if you were a fan of that, too.

extremely useful review
I loved my Milk Made shower froth when I had a chance to try it, but it looks like Cake has replaced it with this product, which can double as bubble bath as well as shower gel. This product shares some fantastic characteristics with the previous one; although, they're not identical.

First, it's in the same sweet raspberry and vanilla scent. It's really sweet, and it's strong. It's not for someone whose sniffer is overly sensitive. Others have remarked how the smell is a bit amateur or childish, like middle school. This is a very girly scent. I actually think that I like the smell a bit better with the bubbles than the froth, because the scents combine a little better. It's not so easy to differentiate the separate ingredients. The shower bubbles are perfectly mixed.

The texture of the bubbles varies from the froth quite a bit. The froth was thin and milky. It felt silky on the skin. The bubbles are a slightly thicker gel. It's still white, but it's more of the consistency of ejaculate than milk. It doesn't impede its function in any way, but I liked the silky, milky feeling of the froth a bit better.

While this product does froth well enough to work as a bubble bath, the shower froth produced an even fluffier lather. Again, it's not problematic, but you'll probably have to use more if you want ten inches of bubbles on top of your tub. Although I used this only as a body wash, it rinsed off and created a layer of bubbles in my tub, without me intending for it to. However, it did seem to make my tub noticeably more slippery, which could be a problem for some people.

As a shower gel, it worked well enough. A little product went a long way and it felt silky smooth on my skin. It left my body feeling soft. Although, I've never had a problem with dryness overall, so I can't say if it's a super moisturizing product, but I have no overall complaints.

Others were less thrilled with how this left their hair feeling after using as a bubble bath. If you don't like heavy products, you might want to do a quick rinse after your bubble bath. I experienced no problems with just using it as a cleansing product, though.

The shower bubbles work well as a replacement product, even if it's not identical. I really like the smell and that it stays on my skin. Cake's Desserted Island body washes smell more powdery and don't seem to stick as much. I'd probably like this in a body spray, too.
Follow-up commentary
I'm surprised by how long this product has lasted me. It really takes little to froth quite well. I recently moved, and having this body wash in my bathroom made it feel more like home. It could make my skin feel a little more soft or smooth, but I love it overall.
