Romantic candle - mist discontinued by Kingman - review by Cori

The Champagne Lights romantic candle is a cute, all-natural mini candle. It comes in four different scents: French Vanilla, Champagne Rain, Midnight Romance, and Apples & Cinnamon. It can be used as home decor or as a mood-setting candle. This candle claims to be a scented candle with pheromones; however, I can't say I noticed that added sensual enhancer.

The candle is shipped as is. The jar is made of clear glass and has a tin lid. The front of the candle reads "Champagne Lights scented candle with pheromones." There is a neat tribal design featuring a tiny butterfly along the entire bottom of the glass. The back of the glass goes over the usual candle warnings. The wick should be trimmed to 1/4 inch before relighting and the candle should not burn for more than three to four hours at a time.



Inside the four ounce glass jar are tiny wax beads that, upon opening, have a very strong scent. I found it's best to shake the jar from side to side to allow the beads to settle before opening. Be careful when removing the lid in case any beads are stuck to it, this can create a mess.

When I first opened my candle, the wick was situated off to one side but it can be easily guided into the middle. After lighting the candle the first time, the beads will solidify, thus creating a less messy candle when re-opened.

The candle is supposed to have a twelve hour burn time, which seems accurate after burning mine for several hours. I think you may even be able to get a little more than that, and for the price point, that's pretty amazing. The candle burns pretty evenly, but can be packed down a little bit if you're having problems in that area.

I got the Midnight Romance scent. The wax beads are a pale, baby blue color. Midnight Romance has a clean linen kind of smell, but with stronger floral notes. It's very perfume-y. It smells very strong when removing the lid, and even adds a light smell the area surrounding it, but once you light it, the scent is near impossible to pick up. It didn't even fill my tiny bathroom with its scent.



All in all, I enjoyed this little candle. It would be perfect if it weren't for the incredibly light scent while burning.

I love the way this candle looks and the way it initially smells. The unique wax beads are a nice added touch. I don't normally purchase candles that aren't highly scented; however, If you like a more subtle scent, then this candle would be perfect!

I still like my little candle! I love the delicate scent and the unique wax beads. But most of all, I love the price!
