Old Faithful

The name of the Hitachi Magic Wand, really says it all. Magic. The Hitachi will bring you the maximum pleasure every single time you use it. I have had many rabbit style vibrators, clitoral stimulators, G-spot stimulators, but all of them pale in comparison the my magic wand.
I admit, I was skeptical of a vibrator that had to be plugged in, but I quickly realized that this powerful of a tool could not rely on batteries alone. The powerful orgasms that the Magic Wand can provide are breathtaking; they leave your body trembling with pleasure.
A drawback to all this power is that it can be noisy. However, noise is only an issue if you are trying to be discreet. When using the wand with a partner or partners (lucky lady!), the noise seems rather inconsequential.

As a new product, it does have that "new plastic" smell. I cleaned mine thoroughly with an adult toy cleaner, and the smell faded quickly.
The head is a firm plastic, though it has a little bit of a spongy texture for comfort. The body is a hard plastic, but it is sleek enough to handle with ease.

My first impression is that the head is too large and the handle is very long, but I realized that the size is necessary for easy handling and maximum pleasure.
I would not suggest this item to a user who is new to vibrators because it is simply so very powerful. Even a more advanced user will quickly discover that the power is like nothing that they have ever experienced.
The sheer size of the Wand does not make it very discreet or travel friendly.

This is very easy to use. There is one simple switch for switching from off to high or low. The control switch is located near the head, which makes it convenient to control with your hand as you use the Wand.
Since the item is plugged into a wall, it is NOT waterproof! Please do not consider submerging your Wand in water!
The noise, again, is not quite discreet. If used under a blanket, the sound can be muffled. I do not beleive the sound is distracting during couple use.

After use, I always unplug it and wipe it down with toy wipes. I store the Wand in a simple cloth bag.
I do use the Slip Gel lube on the head for a more wet and wild experience, but it is not necessary. The head is very easily cleaned off after use.

It comes in a simple box with a picture on the outside. There really are NO instructions needed. Plug it in. PLAY!
The Wand could be stored in its box, although it is not very convenient. The package has the name and picture of the item written on all sides of the box, so it really is not very re-usable, unless you are giving a gift to someone who is not sensitive to the topic of sex toys.
