This vibrator is fabulous for so many reasons. Number one would have to be the power behind this baby. You have two speeds, low and high, or as I call them, high and off the charts. I would suggest starting on the low first and having no direct contact until you see how it feels to you. The Hitachi can be used as a massager first, toy second. This toy would be wonderful for anyone. You can be new to vibrators and figure out this toy with no problem. Just please remember this is not a water proof toy. So no taking it into the shower, and never plug it in if the toy is wet. Also if using this as a massager, be aware it is not to be used over swollen or inflamed areas, or skin eruptions.

This is not a small massager. It is 12" length, 1.2 lbs, and has a 6 foot power cord. The Hitachi is made out of a plastic material and is latex free. The head is a softer, rubber material and has a slight give when pushed from side to side. There is a grove going around the middle of the head, but it is smooth, so there are no harsh edges.

This toy reminds me of an overly large, PlayStation Move motion controler. The size is a little intimidating, but what fun it was to master. I really wish they had different colors or something that was not so appliance looking. Then again, for the power this baby has, I do not care what it looks like anymore. I will say that when I first turned this guy on I laughed. It really sounds like my hand mixer, and the changing from one level to the other just made me laugh because it was just like increasing the speed on the mixer. In saying it is like my mixer, I should point out my mixer is a pretty quiet one as far as mixers go. Now after the first orgasm, I was not laughing anymore. One good thing is you could travel with it. I would feel better about the airport pulling this out of my bag over my pink rabbit.

The switch to turn it on is easy to maneuver whenever you need to. You start in the middle, which is the off button. You slide the switch towards the head for high, and towards the cord for low. Like I said, this toy is pretty loud but can be muffled with a blanket and music. I also love that you do not need batteries. If the power ever goes out I am going to be a very sad person. The performance is phenomenal. I have never had a toy that was so strong I could keep clothes on and still reach orgasm. I did read someone saying they had numbing with direct contact, so I keep that to a minimum. I have had no issues with it numbing me as of yet.

This toy is not water proof, so cleaning can be a little challenging. I first cleaned mine by using a little bit of soap on the head and using a wet rag. This way I am still cleaning it first with antibacterial soap, and I just use a toy cleaner from there on. I did lay it out to make sure it was completely dry before storing, and I did not plug it in until the next day just to be sure it was dry.

I have to say I first saw this toy in 2000 when I went to my first real toy shop. I saw it and thought I would never own something that looked like that. Who was I kidding? I was a very stupid young lady that day. I have been missing out on some fast, wonderful orgasms for 11 years. Crazy.
