Use

Cake Supreme Body Mousse is a thick, rich lotion for moisturizing your body. It is great to use all over, hands, feet, legs, arms, back, belly, the whole works! Apply it anytime of the day, fresh out of the bath or when you're feeling dry, right after washing your hands, ect. It's the perfect lotion for girls that love sweet smelling, mouth watering scents over floral smelling products.

I'm obsessed with lotion, I'm constantly putting it on to feel moisturized and to smell good. Given the three scent choices of Cake, this lotion is marketed toward us ladies, though men could use it too but I don't know too many that would want to smell this way over something with a more "manly" scent to it.

Cake's lotions smell super sweet and are strong in my opinion; they are noticeable. With that being said, if you are prone to headaches from certain smells you should take that along with the scent into consideration. I am a person with sensitivities to smell, certain scents give me headaches or make my allergies flare up. I don't have this problem with Cake. The scents are pleasing to me and I enjoy them headache free.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

I really wanted to include a photo to show the difference between the Suave lotion, Dona, and a Bath and Body Works lotion but my camera wasn't wanting to cooperate with me and focus so I can't do that, I apologize.

Cake Supreme body mousse is thicker than both the Suave and Dona lotion that I have. It compares in thickness to the lotions you buy at Bath and Body works. It is thicker than Vaseline lotion too. I personally prefer thick lotions to thin and/or runny ones; it just feels more hydrating to me.

It comes out of the bottle easily when squeezed. It stays in place and won't run at all. It feels moist, hydrating, soft and smooth. There is no sticky of greasy effect to this lotion at all. It just feels great.

Taste / Aroma

The scent I am reviewing is It's a slice. It is labeled as Orange/Vanilla on the product page. It smells exactly like a dreamsicle, those orange popsicles with vanilla ice cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a glass of orange soda. The smell is delectable and uplifting, invoking thoughts of childhood and hot summer days.

It's a slice really is mouth watering. The first time opened the bottle and inhaled I had a craving for a dreamsicle snow cone. That evening I made my fiance take me over to the local summer snow cone shack and I got one in dreamsicle flavor! That is how good this stuff smells!

As for taste, with any lotion I assume it isn't great. It isn't intended to be flavored and though it smells heavenly, I have no desire to lick it.

Performance

Cake Supreme body mousse lasts a good amount of time. I only apply it all over my body after I have a shower and I feel fine until my next shower. I re-apply it to my hands after washing so they don't feel dry. It soaks into the skin well and keeps you feeling refreshed and the scent lingers long after you rub it in. What I love best about it (besides the smell) is how thick it is and that I don't have to constantly reapply it everywhere throughout the day. With some lotions they just don't even feel like they have done anything for me and that is why I buy thick lotions.
It doesn't feel gross or greasy so there really isn't a need to wash it off and I don't know why would want to but if you do it won't leave oily residue or anything to that nature.

The ingredients are:
Water/Eau (Aqua), Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric triglyceride, Cetyl alcohol, Stearic acid, Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seed oil, Cocos nucifera (Coconut) oil, Macadamia integrifolia seed oil, Mangifera indica (Mango) alcohol, Isopropyl palmiate, Dimethicone, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate), Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium EDTA

Packaging

Cake's Supreme body mousse comes in a plastic bottle with a flip top cap that is easy to dispense and not messy at all.

Personal comments

I cannot get enough of this stuff! I do love my Bath and Body works lotions, especially the summer scents they currently have but they don't offer a scent similar to It's a slice so Cake now has me as a returning customer. This is my second bottle of the stuff. I have gotten compliments by people that have caught a wiff of it off me. My fiance once told me I smell good enough to eat!

I love to take a long relaxing bubble bath with their Supremely rich bath and shower froth in the same scent, then apply the lotion to keep the scent on my body.

I wish they would put out body spray or perfume with their scents, I would be first in line to get a bottle! I'd love some lip gloss or balm in this flavor.

I recommend this stuff to every girl that loves sweet treats and in all scents: It's a slice, Deserted Island and Milk made; they all smell so wonderful.
Follow-up commentary
I love this line of products, I just wish they were more affordable as $22 for a bottle of lotion is pretty steep. I try to use it as sparingly as I can instead of cake it on like I normally do with my lotions. I use a thin layer so it will last longer and I can enjoy the bottle longer. I love how the scent lingers on my skin and clothing for hours.
