The "head" of this vibrator is like a soft plastic that can be a little hard at times. The top part of the Hitachi has some sort of give to it though.

There are two controls—low and high. The low setting can even be a bit too much for me. There is a switch on the body of the Hitachi for the settings. The toy was packaged as a long box, so it would be easy to give as a gift and to wrap and be discreet. There were easy-to-read instructions included. This toy was originally made as a body massager and not as a sex toy, so the instructions really don't apply.
