My love for the Hitachi has been well documented. It is the best toy that I have ever owned. EVER. I resisted owning a Hitachi for a really long time. I had heard about it and had even held one in my hand (feeling it's power), but I always thought it was just so ugly... and archaic! I mean, it plugs in for godsakes! There are so many fancy, high tech toys now-a-days, what with their multiple speeds and dials and functions that must be so much better than this outdated electric vibe. Right? Wrong. I should have listened to that old adage of "don't knock it 'til you try it." Because, honestly? There is nothing better than the Hitachi. NOTHING.

The Hitachi is a plug-in electric vibe. The good thing about that? No batteries! The bad thing? It's not very portable, and you need to make sure your bed (or couch or chair or wherever you are planning on using the toy) is close enough to an outlet for the cord to reach. The toy is also quite large, and not very quiet. The longer the toy is on, the louder it gets. And I also wouldn't recommend using the toy for longer than 20ish minutes as a time (which is long enough to have at least 10 orgasms with it) as it gets quite hot after a while.

Okay, enough about the negatives. Because all of those things are irrelevant, as the toy itself is magical, as the name would imply. It has two speeds, which I will call "powerful" and "more powerful". If you are someone that needs a lot of stimulation (like I am), then this toy is DEFINITELY for you. This toy gets me off in under a minute every time. And not only that, it continues to get me off over and over again. I am not someone who usually has multiple orgasms. In fact, most of the time I need a cool down period between orgasms. But not with the Hitachi. I can keep coming and coming and coming as long as my poor little clit can handle it.

I tend to use the Hitachi over my underwear for two reasons: 1) it is strong enough to get me off without being placed directly on my clit and 2) I don't have to worry about cleaning it. I can get pretty wet, and having multiple orgasms can get quite messy. I find that it is just easier to avoid the mess all together by using the toy over underwear. I have also heard that some people just CANNOT handle the direct stimulation, as it is too powerful, and use it through clothes or blankets. I cannot endorse this toy enough.

This vibe remains my go-to vibe. As I've used it a lot, I've had problems with the foam inside the cap on the head of the toy shedding black remnants, and I have difficulty cleaning the cap. It's become dirty, even though I clean it after each use. However, neither of these things affect the performance of the toy.
