JO H2O lubricant - water-based lubricant by System JO - review by Etoile237

I got this lube because I have several silicone toys that I like to play with, but you can't use a silicone lube with them to avoid deterioration. I also wanted something thicker than most water-based lubes, for anal play. The JO H2O isn't perfect, but it is quite nice and I don't regret the purchase.

This is a crystal-clear lube with a thick liquid consistency. I wouldn't say it's quite a gel. It does have a very smooth, slippery feel, similar to a silicone, but also has a stretch between your fingers more like a water-based or your natural fluids. Rubbing between your fingers it stays smooth for a while but does get sticky after a while so in that way, it's not identical to silicone.

It is unflavored but does have a slightly sweet/bitter taste - nothing too offensive. Be forewarned that while the ingredients aren't listed on the bottle, I did find out that this lube contains glycerine, which can cause irritation and/or infection in some girls. I haven't had that problem, but if you do, this wouldn't be the lube for you.

In use, it works well for vaginal play, and pretty good for anal play. Very slidey and does what it needs to do. With anal, it needs to be re-applied because of the eventual stickiness. The aftermath with the stickiness too was a little unpleasant. However, the plus side of this is that it washes off easily with water, which is much better than a silicone lube.

I got an 8 ounce bottle of the JO H2O, which will probably last me damn near forever. I've used it 3 times so far and you can't even tell any is gone. I like it enough to keep using it, but I'm not sure if I will purchase again or try something else.
