Sliquid organics silk - lubricant discontinued by Sliquid, LLC - review by ToyBunny

The Sliquid Organics Silk Lubricant is a great buy and has easily made it to the top of my lube list.

It is made with certified organic botanical extracts of Green tea, Hibiscus, Flax and Sunflower seed, Aloe vera. The ingredients listed are as follows: Purified water, Plant cellulose(from cotton),Aloe borbadenis*, Natural tocopherole(Vitamin E), Cyamopsis, Extracts of Hibiscus*, Flax*, Green tea* and Sunflower seed*, Isopropyl Palmitate, Polysorbate 20, Dimethicone, Emolient Ester, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol(Rose ether). * - Certified organic.

What drew me to buy this product is that it is glycerin, paraben, and petroleum free. I have previously had problems with infections developing after using glycerin products so it's nice to be able to use this lube worry free. It's an added bonus that it’s non-staining, uses vegan ingredients, and Sliquid products use no animal testing.

The Sliquid Organics Silk has a natural, creamy, silky, non-sticky texture. It's an opaque liquid, not quite clear. It really felt similar to my own lubrication. I really liked that it is not sticky whatsoever. It is very runny though. I wish it were a little thicker so I don't have to worry about drips.

Since it is a water based lubricant, it is not going to be the best choice for long sessions or anal without reapplication. I would suggest a silicone based lube for those activities.

There is no smell or taste.

It comes packaged in a plastic, 4.2 ounce bottle with a pop top for application. I like how easy it is to open and close which could definitely be done with one hand. The bottle is discreet and it looks like it could go with other lotions or beauty products and it would be difficult for someone to know what it is. Its small size can also travel well.

I used this product with this toy Wild G and during foreplay as well as during sex with my partner. I really loved the feel of this lube with both. The lube works really well with my own natural lubrication and didn't feel sticky after. It practically absorbed into my skin.

I ended up throwing this away. It was too sticky and just didn't provide a good enough experience to keep it around and take up space.
