Wet body glide - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by Illumin8

My wife and I decided to experiment with this lube a few weeks ago. Being the first flavored lube we've used together, we weren't completely sure what to expect. We initially applied a small amount and used it for oral but didn't get very far with that (I'll explain why a little further below). We then proceeded to use it for vaginal intercourse. Given the fact that this is a flavored lube, it will most likely be used most frequently for oral.

The feel of this lube was actually one thing that we enjoyed about it. However, it would have been much better had it lasted a little longer between re-applications. The lube is fairly thin feeling compared to others that we use more frequently, but this is by no means a negative aspect of the product. What is a negative, though, is that the lube is fairly sticky as it starts to dry. Not sure how everyone else feels about stickiness, but I can't stand it.

As previously mentioned, we used this lube initially for oral, though we stopped shortly after. The reason for this: the taste. I'm not sure if it's just me, or what, but I can't stand the taste of this lube. It's apparent that it is strawberry flavored, but the after taste that remains is horrible. It's hard to explain it exactly, but my best description would be if I likened it to a flavored product, such as cough syrup, which tastes only remotely close to the claimed flavor. As for positives, the lube does, however, smell quite nice.

One final disappointment that we came across when using this product was the amount of time that it lasted before drying. We primarily use silicone based lube and so have higher expectations for how long a lube should stay wet before having to reapply. All I can say is that we had to stop numerous times throughout our session while using this lube to squeeze some more out of the tube. And because the lube becomes quite sticky when drying, it's pretty uncomfortable if you choose to ignore it and continue playing without reapplying.

As for cleanup, the lube washed off very easily in the shower, even if just with water. Washes off even easier with soap and warm water. I tend to be very particular and am a clean freak, so I found this to be a definite plus.
