Personal moisturizer - lubricant discontinued by LELO - review by Miss B Haven

From its name I was expecting to receive a luxurious lotion or cream. Once opened and researched I found that it is designed to be a lubricant. While it is a nice lube it's not something I would have thought would bare the Lelo name. It is slick but it dries quickly. It is also very watery and doesn't 'puddle' like some other lubes do. I found the best use of this product was as an after-sex lube/moisturizer. After long play sessions I sometimes become a little raw and sensitive. This particular lube worked very well when applied to my over-sensitive areas that I could actually continue or start a new session. It cleared redness and soothed chaffed skin, inside and out.

The texture is silky and smooth. It pours pretty quickly out of the tube so it is easy to use more than you need. The lube is very watery and doesn't stay where it's poured. It runs on every surface, from skin to silicone. I liked the feeling of it rubbed into my skin but as the lube dries it gets not really sticky, but it's not easy to run your fingers over.

There is a very faint, bitter taste to the lube. The taste is not strong enough to prevent me from putting it in my mouth but it wouldn't be my first choice to use as a lube for oral play. I didn't notice any smell out of the bottle or after using it.

Unfortunately this lube didn't stay slick for long. While it was nice as a starter lube it does need to be reapplied. Using it after sex was perfect because it did dry quickly and didn't leave a residue. It becomes slippery when water is applied so washing it off does require soap. After cleaning I felt like my skin was left softer and less irritated than not using lube at all.

The packaging is minimal and sophisticated, which is classic Lelo style. A simple black box baring the Lelo name and product title on the front. A web address is on one side and a description of the priduct on the other. The back of the box has usage instructions in five languages as well as an ingredient list.

The tube inside is also minimal and refined with the Lelo name and product title on the front and information in English on the back. It can be opened with one dry hand but is more complicated to open if your hands are wet. Left sitting on a nightstand it is difficult to tell the contents, it looks very much like a lotion bottle.
