The lube to get it all started...

This lube is best used for getting things started. It works very well with partners and with toys of all materials. This lubricant is a great option for silicone toys especially because it will aid with insertion. It is a slick, smooth, water-based lubricant that is glycerine and paraben free, so it is very suitable for anyone with sensitive skin. I would not recommend this lubricant for anal play because it will not last long enough to really "get things going." The lubricant, if it is on its own, will last around 10 minutes. If it is used internally, it may seem like it lasts longer because it will mix with your "natural juices" once they get flowing.

The texture of this lubricant is fairly thick for a water-based lube. I would say that I continually use this lubricant especially for this reason. I personally prefer silicone-based lubricant during sex, but I also prefer silicone toys, so I had to find something! The consistency is not quite as thick as silicone lube, but I would say it is just barely thinner. The texture itself is very slick, and incredibly smooth; I have never found it to be sticky or gummy at all. I find the texture fairly similar to "natural" lubrication, so it works well if that is something you're interested in. It doesn't leave any kind of residue on me or my toys, and it sort of absorbs into my skin. I actually really like this property because when I'm done, I don't need to do much for clean up. I sort of just wait for it to absorb into my skin, and then I feel fine.

The lubricant doesn't really have much of a taste or a smell, which I really like. If you are using this during oral, I doubt it will give you any problems. If I had to compare the smell to something, I would say it smells like water; in other words, it is odorless.

As I mentioned before, the product lasts about 10 minutes before you need to reapply. If you are using this for external play, you may need to continually reapply, but if you are using this for internal play, one application may be fine. You don't need to apply a lot of it at once, and I would almost recommend against doing so. If you apply a lot at once, the same problem will still occur. It still absorbs into your skin, and you aren't really "saving" your lubricant.

The part about this lubricant that I like the most is that there was no itching or burning sensation after use. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. It is a really great option, especially for solo play with silicone toys. I don't like this product quite as much as the silicone lubricant I usually use during sex, but until I find a product that can match up, is water-based, AND doesn't cause me to have a bad reaction, I will stick to this one. I am still on the hunt for a good quality, long lasting, glycerine/paraben free, water-based lube, but I think I may be asking for too much on that one.

I would say that my experience with this lube is, hands down, the best water-based lube I have ever used. I like it, but unfortunately, I don't love it. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitivities (which is why I bought it in the first place). I was hoping that I would like a bit more, but due to the short performance, I just can't seem to love it. If I could do half stars, I would give this a 3.5 for performance, but a 4 for how gentle it is. I have yet to use this during penetrative vaginal sex, but with silicone toys, it does the trick.
