Black Tesa`s sweetheart corset - corset discontinued by Escante - review by Eva Schwaltz

I purchased this on a whim not knowing if I’d like it, but I’m really glad I did! It's also nice enough to wear out if I so wish.

The Black Tesa`s sweetheart corset is made of a polyester material which feels very silky to the touch while still thick enough to be very sturdy. Besides black, you can get it in purple, baby blue, green, and hot pink.

This corset is strapless but the support is still great since the boning is also built into the cups. There is no padding or under-wire but I don't think that's really needed. It shows no more cleavage than a regular V-neck top would.

It has 10 plastic boning pieces sewn very well into the fabric of the corset. It has adjustable lacing in the back and a side zipper so you don’t have to keep fiddling with the laces every time you put on the corset. All the seams are sewn very well with no loose threads. The zipper slides easily but clicks into place at the top so it won't come undone when you don't want it to.

I purchased the size 34 which turned out to be a great fit! It also comes in sizes 32, 36, and 38. I ware a size 4, weigh 115 lbs, 5/1”, and 34C bra so if you are smaller than me, definitely order the 32. This won’t be as flattering on those with small breasts.

The lacing design is pretty strange. Basically there’s two laces which meet in the middle. I decided to take one of the laces off and just use one so that it doesn’t feel so bulky. I fitted the lacing to the smallest setting, but there is an extra flap inside the corset so the laces don’t touch your back.

I choose to hand wash this and hang dry so the boning doesn’t become distorted. There is no hanging straps so I just keep it in my lingerie drawer.
