Lace and mesh babydoll with g-string - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by dlw

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one when I ordered it because I am not the biggest fan of the color pink. I ordered five pieces of lingerie at one time, and as I tried them on, my boyfriend said this one was his favorite and might have been mine as well.

This set arrives in a simple cello bag...nothing special.

MEASUREMENTS/STYLE: The babydoll has a halter style top. The straps are 1.5 inches thick and 20 inches long so there is plenty of room to play and adjust or to tie a cute bow in back. The first 6.5 inches of the straps are black satin (same material as the top of babydoll), and then the rest is pink, satin ribbon. Looking at the front of the babydoll you see only black straps, and then from behind the neck you see the pink color.

From the top of the cups to the bottom of the babydoll measures 17 inches. The cups on the babydoll are black satin on the top half and have a bright pink lace overlay on the bottom. The two halves are separated by a piece of black lace with a pink satin ribbon threaded through it, and then they end with a big pink bow in the center of the chest. The cups are slightly padded and contain no under-wire. They measure 5 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The top fits and connects around the back just like a normal bra with two hook and eye closures with three available length settings. It measures 24 inches around and stretches another 8 inches.

Just below the bust is a 2 inch strip of the pink lace overlay that matches the cups. From there, the babydoll has two tiers of black mesh with a finished edge lined with pink thread. You have to step into the sheer tier part because there is an elastic band rather than any type of closure.

The back of the babydoll is open from the shoulders until the bra strap. Then there is another open area until you get to the mesh layers. You are pretty well covered in this one except your upper back/shoulders.

The g-string panty front panel is made from black satin with pink lace overlay matching that on the babydoll. The panty measures 22 inches around and easily stretches to 36 inches. The front panty panel is 4 inches at the widest point and 12 inches long. Honestly, it's pretty small.

This set is available in regular and plus sizes (ranging from small to 1X/2X).

CARE: The tag says this set is made of 82% nylon and 18% spandex. It says to hand wash, but I am sure you could wash on a delicate cycle with low settings and hang dry. It doesn't seem to wrinkle any so you would be able to store it in your lingerie drawer no problem.

The material on this set is extremely comfortable. I could sit in this or sleep in it all night.

I am 5'8", 120 lbs, 34B, and wear a size small (3-ish). I ordered the size small set, and it fit perfectly. Since my ladies aren't the biggest in town, the padding in the cups really helped out. The bottom of the babydoll landed just at the top of the panty on me. My only complaint is that the panty is a little narrow. If you aren't a fan of your goodies hanging out, then you might want to buy another pair (even though these match perfectly and are so cute).

The price at $39.99 is pretty good considering the high quality in material and stitching on this piece. I have only tried this on once, but will I wear it again? Honestly? YES! Many more times!

Yes. Yes. And yes. Still love this set and it still looks great! It has held up and is in great condition after several washes. I can even slip this on one for nights I don't feel like my body is hot enough to reveal so much (come on...you know what I'm talking about).
