Vintage Rose babydoll and g-string - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by libbyv

From its release, the Vintage Rose Babydoll by Coquette caught my eye. I thought it was by far the most beautiful piece of lingerie in the the Coquette spring release. I couldn't wait to receive it, when I got the chance to do a buy out assignment on it.

It wasn't until I received it that I realized why I liked this piece so much...it's because I already had it! I was very surprised to find that other than the material colors, it is the same design as the Red Babydoll and G-string by Coquette, which has become a favorite of mine and hubby's since receiving it.

Other than the material colors, my review for the Red Babydoll and G-String sums this babydoll up Red Babydoll review

Like the Red Babydoll, this one has removable straps allowing for a strapless look. With an elasticized (with Spandex) bust, this babydoll will firmly hug your chest to hold it self up especially when going strapless. At 125 lbs with 34B breasts, the medium was a great fit, with ample breast support even with the absence of an underwire. It may, however, not provide ideal support for larger chested women. The free flowing material and flared bottom allow for easy penetration both vaginally and anally. The stretchy material around the bust allows for the breasts to be exposed if desired.

This babydoll measures 21" from the top of the bust to the bottom of the ruffled skirt. At 5'2", it ends at the top of my thigh, making it very suggestive and leaving little material to be battled with.

Other than the obvious difference in the red and pink fabric and lace colors, there is also a different lace pattern on the bust of this babydoll. The only other obvious difference is the lack of the (2) gems found on the Red Babydoll. Insteads the Vintage Rose Babydoll has a cute little removable bow.

The care and packaging are also the same between the two

Care:82% Nylon and 18% Spandex, the tag suggests hand washing and line drying for prolonging the life of this nightie. Because of the lace pattern, I would not suggest putting it in the washing machine.

Packaging - I was surprised this babydoll did not come with a hanger like other products I have bought from Coquette. It simply came folded in a plastic bag.

Although disappointed by the similarities to the Red babydoll, this is still a beautiful, sexy, and flattering babydoll. If you don't already have the Red Babydoll, and like the coloring of this one, I'd say it's well worth adding to your collection. Had I realized how similar they were prior to ordering, I probably would have skipped it. But in the end, it's not a complete let down. Like the Red Babydoll, hubby enjoys seeing me in this one, even if it is a repeat.
