Couture pink inspire - wand massager discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Breas

The Couture Pink Inspire by Cal Exotics arrived in a plastic, semi-transparent, rectangular package. The front of the packaging states the brand, product name, and a few features of the product. Through the front of the packaging, you can also see the wand and the attachments. The back of the packaging has photos of the items inside of the box, states a few more features, and has a brief description of the product. You could keep the original packaging for storing the product if you wanted, but there is really nothing that exciting about the packaging. Below is a photo of the front and back of the plastic packaging.



Inside of the box you’ll find the wand, two extra head attachments, the power cord, and an instruction manual. The instruction manual is printed in English only. It states the safety instructions, storage, maintenance, how to use the item, and cautions. While most of the information on the manual seems obvious (example: do not fall asleep while using this product), I find it nice that the company included it. I always read the instructions/manuals before using a product regardless of how simple it may be to use, so I appreciate when a company adds a manual with a product.



The wand head and attachments are made of silicone. The wand itself is ABS (plastic) with PU Cote (a velvety finishing). The “default” attachment on the Inspire is the head that already was on the wand when it arrived. It is a smooth, round piece. The default attachment is actually my favourite one. The other two that come with the wand are funky looking. One of the extra attachments has 2 stems, and the other has 3. While I did enjoy the other two attachments, I preferred the default one. In the photo below, you can see all three of the attachments.



The attachments are extremely smooth and glide easily against the skin. I did not find the attachments to have any drag when using it for stimulation on my body, other than for clitoral stimulation. If you find that you need to use lubricant because the drag is a bit much for you, be sure to only use water-based lubricants.

The heads are very easy to attach/detach from the wand. There are little grooves that stick out on the top of the wand, and the attachments secure themselves to these grooves.

When you are ready to use the wand, the manual states that you should plug the unit into the adapter (into the bottom of the wand), and place it on a dry surface. Then plug the adapter into the power outlet. The wand’s light will turn on, but it should not start vibrating. If it does, it is a faulty product and it needs to be returned.

After ensuring that the product is working properly, it’s time to turn it on. There is only one button on the wand that is 4 ½ inches up the wand. To turn it on, click the button once. Once the wand is on, the vibrations begin on the lowest setting. To increase the vibration intensity, you hold the button down until you have reached your desired intensity level. There are no set numbers of vibration speeds, but the vibrations gradually increase for about 4-5 seconds of holding down the button. To turn the vibrations off, just click the button once more.



The vibrations are quite powerful, even on the lowest setting. The vibrations are “rumbly” rather than “buzzy”. On the lower settings, the noise level is quite low. You would not be able to hear the noise from the lower settings through a closed door. As you increase the intensity, the noise increases as well. On the higher settings, you would be able to hear the noise through a closed door. The highest setting sounds like an old electric razor is being used.

On the manual, it says that the wand should not be used under blankets because it could over heat. Also, the manual states that it should not be used for over 20 minutes at a time. I had used the wand for about 10-15 minutes and the top part of the wand got quite warm. I would suggest using the wand for less than 20 minutes, and if you want to continue with the wand, unplug it and let it cool down before using it again.

As for my personal experience, I am extremely satisfied with the Couture Pink Inspire! I consider myself a bit of a power-queen (I need it fast and strong), and I wasn’t even able to handle the highest settings of this wand. The wand does heat up quickly, but with the intensity that the wand provides, it really doesn’t take that long for me to be finished with it. The only issue I had was that on the highest setting, the entire wand vibrates extremely hard. On the lower settings, the vibrations do not travel all the way to the bottom of the wand, but on the highest settings, they do. This makes it a bit irritating on your hand after awhile.

The wand is very light, so I did not have a problem with the weight of the wand. It was extremely easy to use, because of its lightweight and the flexibility of the neck. Below is a photo of the Couture Pink Inspire beside the Hitachi for size comparison.



I also used the wand as a back massager on my partner. He said that it felt amazing, and once I was done, he said his back muscles felt extremely relaxed. He actually wanted me to continue to use it, but it was starting to overheat.

To clean the wand, a bit of soap and water is sufficient. The attachments are silicone, so they can be sterilized and shared if you wanted to.

Overall I rate this wand a 4 out of 5. I absolutely love it, but the fact that it heats quickly and is loud on the higher settings makes it lose one star. I'd recommend this wand to anybody and everybody!

I still love the Couture Pink Inspire. The Wand is just amazing and I've used it over a dozen times since my review. I absolutely love how powerful it is. It's actually my go-to toy right now for solo play. Most of my toys are in a chest, but this one sits right beside my bed!
