OMG Pink Couture Inspire Introduces Me to the True Magic of a Wand Vibrator

The couture wand is amazing, like a tiny Hitachi it can be used to work out muscle tension anywhere on the body. It's so strong it basically guarantees orgasm. It sets a whole new vroom scale. You can plug it in anywhere so you are never without batteries or in need of charging. Unfortunately this means you can't use it outside or in water but its pros far outweigh its cons.

Use

The couture is what we call a wand vibrator. Wands are discreet vibes originally marketed for massage of the entire body. They are usually quite strong but none as strong as the hitachi magic wand. The couture comes a close second. It's is very powerful.

This inspire kit also comes with 3 interchangeable heads so it can be used in a variety of ways. It's basic round head can be see to work out muscle tension anywhere are on the body and can be used solo or on a partner. The second head is double pronged and good for pinching nipples or the clitoris. The third is for double penetration / triple stimulation, as it has one head for insertion of the anus, a larger one or vaginal penetration and a third or literal stimulation.

Since the couture inspire wand has an ac adapter to plug in as a power source, you are limited as to where you can use it. It would have to be indoors and away from water.

I'd recommend this toy for everyone because it can be used for stimulation of ANY body part- though NOT used internally, and has a range from 1 vroom to over 5.

Material / Texture

The couture inspire collection is made mostly of plastic but the interchangeable heads are made of silicone. Plastic and silicone are an 8 and a 10, respectively, on the Eden safety scale. They are both non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex and phthalates free. This means that as long as you clean them properly between orifices or uses, they are safe to share. If unsure use a condom.

The silicone is smooth and supple and light pink. It doesn't smell or taste and is great for beginners and advanced sex toy users alike because it has barely any drag and can be see with or without lube- water-based of course. I would suggest intimate organics hydra because it doesn't contain glycerin or parabens and it has aloe which is really soothing. It doesn't have any texture, except for the line where the interchangeable head attaches.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

The design is great. It's built in the same general shape as most wands- with a handle that starts off narrow and increases in size till it reaches a sort of 'neck' and then the head sits on top. The neck is flexible, which is nice for deep massage but for masturbating I use it so gently that it really doesn't matter. The interchangeable heads are nice, one making the wand similar to the form 2 while the third attachment I just don't find comfortable as I prefer to stimulate just my clit and g-spot, not my anus, but each to their own.

The size is awesome. It has power close to the Hitachi which is way way bigger than the Inspire, but it is way smaller. It's dimensions are as follows:
Length: 7 1/2"
Circumference: 4 3/4"
Diameter: 1 1/2"
Weight: 1 lb

The design really is very easy to utilize for beginner or advanced users because it is so versatile.

It's not made for travel- unless you want to be plugging a cord in in a hotel room. Between the AC adapter, the Inspire itself and the 3 attachments it's quite a bit to carry around.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Inspire has extremely simple controls. One push button is located on the handle and is held down until you reach the desired intensity. One more short push and the unit is turned off.

Although the inspire can reach intensely strong levels of vibration, it doesn't ave any pulsation settings or different functions but it's performance is so great that it doesn't matter.

The one problem I found with the couture inspire is that after about 15 minutes it overheats. This doesn't seem to get in the way of performance but it can't be good for it.

Because it plugs in it must absolutely not be used in or around water.

When you first turn the device on it rumbles, then gets buzzier as it gets stronger. At full speed its about 3 bees.

Care and Maintenance

I would suggest storing the inspire collection (the wand, the adapter and the attachments) in a simple box instead of a pouch, unless you store the attachments separately because you don't want the silicone rubbing together. I like using one of those decorative boxes from the dollar store because they are sturdy and pretty. Just wrap any separate silicone boys or attachments in fabric. Fabric swatches can be acquired very cheap, if not free from fabric stores or second hand stores. Unplug the adapter from the wand when you are not using it.

Because the attachments are made of silicone you must use a water-based lube. Silicone or oil based lubes will deteriorate the material.

Cleaning of the heads is easy, you can sterilize them or throw them in the dishwasher, or just simply wash them with anti bacterial soap and water. The rest of the unit is more difficult to clean. Make sure you unplug the adapter first, both from the wall and from the Inspire. Be very careful not to get it wet. I would try using an old toothbrush or similar brush to clean in the grooves of the head and neck.

Packaging

This came to me from Eden in a thin plastic see-thru box with a tray holding the wand, its ac adapter (which I mistakenly thought was a charger)and two specialty optional removable attachments. The vibe itself is fairly discreet looking but the 3 part attachment (meant for simultaneous vaginal, clitoral and anal stimulation) is not. The third head option looks odd even to a sex toy enthusiast, reminding me of a court jester when it's attached to the Inspire.

It's fine for temporary storage but I prefer a simple decorative cardboard box from the dollar store. The box is simply to flimsy for shipping or gift giving purposes but is easily recyclable.

Instructions weren't really necessary, but simple ones are printed on the back of the box and a booklet is included.

Personal comments

The only thing I would change about the couture is its power source. I'm not sure how much strength would be sacrificed for an internal battery instead of a plug but the fact that I can't walk around my apartment with this toy or make it portable kinda sucks. My next wand will either be themystic wand rechargeable or the fairy wand rechargeable.

Experience

I got the wand expecting a rechargeable and at first I was disappointed that it had to plug in to the wall, but granted it does have an extra long cord. Then I plugged it in...and started laughing my head off because I knew immediately that this was going to be able to get me off in a matter of minutes (instead of my usual half an hour). Its almost as strong as the Hitachi magic wand, which I don't own but I did buy for a friend and have used on my back- but never for sexual intentions. I think that the Hitachi would make my delicate skin raw, even if it did get me off, which I'm sure it would but I'd have to barely touch myself with it. I think the Couture Pink Inspire is much better because its smaller for one thing and silicone for another.
anyway wow! it was incredible. I tried the other two attachments but found I was content with just the round head. The only thing I'm worried about is: once you go wand do you ever go back? Do I have to worry about neglect of my We-vibes and Ocean and Form 2? Laziness- well maybe when alone but I'm sure with a partner I'll still pull out my favs. Thing is I received the Couture Inspire when I was staying with my family and I accidentally left the adapter there. So my other toys will have to do until her power source comes home!
Follow-up commentary
The Inspire is still my fav go to warm up vibe. I don't really use it by itself all the way to the big O but I probably would if I didn't have an entire arsenal of vibrators at my disposable. Usually it used to take me 15-20 minutes with a luxury vibe to reach my peak, but with the Inspire I cut that time in half- at least! I still use a clit stim gel. Right now I'm loving using the Shunga secret garden with the Inspire almost on high (which is well above 5 vrooms in my opinion) to stir up the energy in my entire vulvar area. After a few minutes I start to have these intense rolling beginnings of orgasms that just crest the hill but don't make it over the top. Then I grab my Jimmyjane Form 2 and I cum basically instantly- I mean within seconds!
Why I recommend this wand above other plug in wands (which in my opinion are the only toys that compare)is the removable silicone cap and it's small size. This seems to go on sale a lot on Eden. More than once I have seen it for 40% off so if it comes up again seriously buy it!!
Oh and it still works great for massage too but I cold care less about that.
