A Softer Touch

Owners of the Eroscillator who find the textured attachments too harsh may consider trying this softer attachment before giving up on the toy entirely.

Use

This attachment mutes the oscillating vibrations delivered by the Eroscillator while providing a smoother surface against the body. That's all it does. If you find the Eroscillator overwhelming or the textured attachments too harsh, this is the solution. Otherwise, skip it.

Material / Texture

The portion that rests against the skin is a smooth, slick silicone with a good deal of squish to it, if squish is appropriately used as a noun. The rest of the attachment is plastic. None of it has any particular taste or smell. It's non-porous, Phthalates-free, latex free, and body safe.

The texture is the gentlest, smoothest texture available for the Eroscillator. Beginners and advanced users alike will find it appropriate if it matches their personal tastes.

Design / Shape / Size

Personally, I found this attachment to be wider than necessary for my personal tastes. It's closer to an inch across than the 3/4" listed on the product page, and it dispersed the oscillating vibrations so much that I had to turn the toy up to a higher setting to compensate. With other attachments, the first speed is more than adequate for me, but with this attachment, I had to crank it up to the third and highest speed.

Since this is an external toy, the size is not really a factor for beginners or advanced users, it comes down to personal tastes.

While the attachment looks discreet enough on its own -- it's obviously the attachment to something, but many people won't guess what exactly -- it actually decreases the discretion of the Eroscillator itself, as it provides one more clue as to the device's true nature to anyone snooping through your stuff. I store mine in a cosmetics bag with a tube of toothpaste and a spare toothbrush. It's a pretty weak cover story, but at least it's in place.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This attachment works as intended, in that it's the gentlest attachment for the Eroscillator, and it mutes the intensity of the oscillations. Whether that's a pro or a con will depend on the individual user's personal preferences.

I will say that it's not my favorite attachment for this particular toy, but it's not unpleasant either. Those who like squishy bullets and soft clit vibes will likely find this to be their favorite piece. But my tastes lean towards some of the attachments that come packaged with the toy, and those don't cost an extra forty bucks.

Anyone who likes a significant amount of power from their vibrators will not find the Eroscillator particularly enhanced by this attachment, nor will anyone who likes firmer clit vibes.

Care and Maintenance

The Eroscillator attachments can all be sprayed with toy cleaner, wiped down with toy wipes, or washed in hot, soapy water. If I needed to sterilize any of the ends, I'd risk boiling them, as I suspect they'd survive it, and if they needed sterilization then it would be that or the trash, so it's worth the risk, but the literature doesn't seem to recommend it.

Storage is simple. Mine are all loose with the Eroscillator itself, in a cosmetics bag full of dental products that serve as a disguise. A ziplock bag would do just as well if discretion is less of an issue for you.

Packaging

The attachment came in a small plastic bag that was not reusable. I recycled it.

Personal comments

I rarely complain about the cost of a toy, but this one is quite simply not worth forty dollars.

Since the attachments for the Cal Exotics Mini Oscillator fit the Eroscillator, and the Eroscillator itself comes with three different attachments, all of which have two functional sides, I could have done without it. Putting a softer bullet sleeve over any one of those existing attachments would have had the same effect.

Furthermore, there is simply no excuse for singling out this one attachment and selling it separately. The manufacturer loses points in my book for that decision. The Eroscillator itself is a great toy, and worth the high end purchase price, but this attachment is no prize.

I have it as well, and it's the attachment that works the best on a guy. It's that gentle. Otherwise, I prefer the others for myself too.

Thanks for the review! For a tiny plastic attachment, 40 dollars seems insulting.
