This attachment stimulates a wider area than the ones that came with the Eroscillator 2, so for me, using this attachment seems to make the job of finding "the spot" immensely easy. That being said, I usually use this for masturbation, or handle it myself during sex so that I can maximize my chances of staying on that elusive spot. I've only used this for nipple and clit play, but I'm sure it can be used on other external areas. The marshmallow part of the attachment is silicone and is latex free, non-porous and Phthalates free. There is no strange smell or stickiness that you can get with some toys. The attachment is waterproof, so you can immerse it in soap and water to clean. It is very easy to snap on and off of the Eroscillator - you just push down until you hear the click to attach it and then pull up to remove. I've read that it's not meant for penetration, but I don't see why it would do any harm if you wanted to try it. It seems to mute the oscillations more than the other attachments and delivers them in a gentle way.

I use diluted hydrogen peroxide to clean a lot of things in my home, so I've used that to clean this attachment. I've also used hot water and soap; both work well. This attachment is always either on my Eroscillator, sitting next to my bed, or in the drawer next to my bed when I think someone might be coming by. I use coconut oil as a lube, and that works wonderfully with all toys. Olive oil is great too. If you use a water-based lube, some can get "sticky" as the water content evaporates during use, but that is easily remedied by keeping a water mister handy to re-hydrate the liquid.

The attachment just came in a non-resealable little plastic bag, so not the best for gifting or storing.
