A bullet vibe is an iconic sex toy. It's small and portable, but packs a punch for those who need or want extra stimulation. Its chief purpose is to transmit vibrations to the clitoris, whether alone, during partnered sex, or as an extra nudge during masturbation with a dildo. Its simplicity means it's multi-purposed, however, and the High Intensity Bullet can also provide pinpoint stimulation anywhere on the body, including the nipples or the outside of the anus. This particular bullet is unique because of its three intense speeds, its velvety texture, and because it sports the bright eye-catching colors of our beloved Eden. The High Intensity Bullet absolutely lives up to its name---it's High Intensity, All The Way. MATERIAL
A hard plastic makes up the body of the High Intensity Bullet, and it has a velvety finish. The feel of this vibe is one of my favorite features---it gives a little drag when you slide it across your skin, and it feels slightly warm. It provides the perfect compliment to your natural lubricant, so the texture is great both for genital use and for all-over pinpoint massage. I can't tell whether the texture is an extension of the plastic of the body, or if it's a finish---if anyone else can figure it out, I'd be glad to hear the answer.

ABS plastic has no phthalates, latex, or other risky elements, so this should be safe for all users. It cannot be bleached or boiled for sterilization, though, so don't share it with anyone you aren't already sharing fluids with. For cleaning, simple soap and water will do the trick, and you can store it anywhere you please, as it does not pick up lint.

There are materials in this bullet that your body won't come into contact with, such as a circuit board and the vibrator motor itself, which should only be disposed of in specialized facilites---so don't just toss this in the trash if you don't like it. DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
The design of the High Intensity Bullet is classic. The body is just a bit thicker than the N battery it takes, with a twist-off battery cap sealed by an o-ring to ensure watertightness. The bullet is 8.5cm in length, 1.5cm in diameter, and tapers to a point that's ideal for pinpoint clitoral stimulation. (Should you want broader stimulation, you can use the length of the bullet against your clit, but since the vibrations permeate the whole vibe this won't give you much respite.) The small size means you can easily toss this into your pocket or purse so you're never caught without it---if you want it around, that is.

This bullet is very well made---the vibrator motor and battery fit securely into the plastic shell with no rattling or wobbling, the plastic threads are strong, and it's easy to close the cap as tightly as necessary for battery contact and to create the watertight seal.

PERFORMANCE
The three speeds of the High Intensity Bullet can be accessed by pressing and holding the bright green button until the vibe first clicks on, then wavers up to medium speed, and finally climbs to high. The speed switching doesn't feel quite seamless, but keep pressing and it does work. A final press turns the vibe off.

EXPERIENCE
I had an interesting experience with this bullet. When I first turned on the low speed ("this is already buzzier than a hornet's nest!"), I thought "there's no way I can touch my clit with that." I used the vibe on my vulva and around my labia, and in just a few minutes, I realized that my clit was numb enough that I could put the vibe straight on it. Not aroused, mind you---numb. After a few minutes of that, I realized I couldn't feel much at all and I needed to boost the speed. Speed two ("reminds me of an electric pencil sharpener!") was stronger, but again after a few minutes with it, I needed to boost to the third speed("this is stronger than the motor of my food processor!") to feel anything. My fingers had gone numb long ago, and I hadn't really noticed when.

Now, it's not that I don't like powerful vibrations. I have (and love) the Cone, which is objectively even stronger than this. The vibrations of the High Intensity Bullet are just way too buzzy for me to enjoy. I tried it during all phases of my cycle, because I wanted to be able to like a bullet vibe (just like all the cool kids!) and the results were the same. I was able to have an orgasm with it, once (and that's weird, because usually I can have an orgasm any time the wind picks up, but this really numbed me) by rubbing my clit back and forth with the body of the bullet. When I came, it was intense, but OUCH was my clit sensitive afterward. The nerves throughout my body felt jangly, and I decided that this was simply not the bullet for me.

The High Intensity Bullet seems to be a great bullet for those who like a lot of power, or who aren't picky about vibration frequency. It's pretty, it's well-made, the texture is nice, and boy howdy is it strong, but it's not the bullet for the sensitive among us.

After its long trial period, which left me with only pain after feeling returned to my numb tissues, the High Intensity Bullet is certainly never going to win me over---its only purpose in my life now is to serve as a comparison in video reviews---so I can show how wonderfully non-numbing Tantus' and Rocks Off's bullets are.
